    I love byoma's moisturizers. The whole brand reminds me of bubble skincare at Walmart except that byoma agrees with my skin so much better.

    I'm on my second bottle of the Byoma mist - and in defense of it, the formulation works well (for me), but it is not transferable into a finer misting bottle. I've tried many ones, and there's something about its viscosity that doesn't allow it to be nebulized finely. A bummer for sure. That said, my current technique for using it is just to aim the product kinda upward and let it more fall on my face, rather than the usual spray and pray method haha.
    Byoma said online that they recommend pumping with more force than usual, and that should help. Your mileage may vary. Hard to beat ceramide and probiotic spray at that price. Hope this helps anyone who's made it this far! 😄

      Press slowly to get a fine mist! 👍

      @@juhnetmickerdy No, that doesn't work. It'll dribble out if you press too slowly. Byoma even stated to press 'firmly' to better dispense the product evenly.

    I love the hydrating serum. It's really nice that someone finally came out with one that isn't hyaluronic acid. It's basic, but it works. I love glycerin and sqalane so it's right up my alley

    I like the Byoma face mist, it works very well for my oily skin type. It is the right level of hydration after I apply to my damp skin, or before my serums. I often don't like traditional moisturisers because they often leave my face too greasy feeling. I agree about the spray application, it's a little better when you spray your face from a far... That way you get some on the neck and chest too lol

    I’ve been using the gel cream and the hydrating serum for a few weeks now. I was struggling with my skin barrier and I got a nice offer here in Germany. So far I’m impressed. I haven’t made up my mind about the cleanser (just used it twice as a second cleansing step) and the clarifying serum. I can’t use the clarifying serum and the moisturizer in the same routine since both of them contain niacinamide and I’m quite sensitive to that.
    Sent them an email about the percentag of niacinamide and got an answer that was along the lines of “ won’t give away our secrets” and “we can explain how each ingredient works in case you don’t know”. Not very customer friendly in my opinion.

      I really wish more brands would readily disclose the percentages of all their ingredients, this may never happen, but a girl can dream. Niacinamide is really starting to show up in everything these days and there are a lot of people that are very sensitive to it so I feel for you.

    • @alena9437
      @alena9437 2 роки тому +3

      I asked for this information too and received the same answer. So I wont buy it. I want to know the percentages of the actives. There are too many other great companys who declare it. And too many people with sensitivities or people like me, who need at least 5%.

    • @Jl2damax
      @Jl2damax 2 роки тому +2

      I feel for you, niacinamide stings my skin even in small percentages but for some reason the elf blemish breakthrough water cream at 4% is tolerated perfectly. Idk if it’s the way manufacturers formulate with it or what but it’s interesting how some products with lower percentages trigger a reaction but that one doesn’t.

    Brand looks interesting and I have dry mature skin so the cleanser, face mist and moisturizer looks good. I sometimes put water like toners in old spray bottles. Right now I'm using the Make P:rem Safe Me toner in an old Cosrx spray bottle.

    Love the gentle jelly cleanser as a second step cleanser after I use the Juno&Co cleansing balm. I’m not too interested in trying Byoma’s other skincare because it doesn’t sound hydrating enough, so I appreciate your review.

    Love the brand! I’m also not the BIGGEST fan of the serums, but I think I’d like them more if they were marketed differently. They tend to feature more “supporting” ingredients than heavy hitters, but that’s possibly part of their whole image (“not trying to be too harsh and support the barrier”is what they seem to be marketing the brand as). I tend to use too much of the cleanser, but I still love it lol. The mist I like as well, but I use it a bit more like a toner and pat/smooth it around since the spray is so direct. I’m always scared I’ll spray it directly into my eyes lol. I feel like the moisturizers are my favourite products in the line. Both of them are pretty damn great, in my opinion. I will say, though, that the rich moisturizer feels like it has more product than the gel one. But maybe that’s just me. It could explain the + $1 difference lol

    I have tried one of their moisturisers and got to say it’s quite good HOWEVER the packaging is the worst! The pump works for max 5 days then you can’t get anymore out. I have had a replacement sent by beauty bay and the same thing happened. Super hard to get anymore out. It’s a 👎🏼 from me!

    All i have tried from them was their hydrating serum-but i use it more as a barrier serum/emulsion which i think it shoud be marketed as. a little doesnt really go a long way but i wanted to try it because it had good barrier ingredients and no niacinimide or hyaluronic acid. It is alright but no where near as good as my ample n ceramide shot!

      They won’t give away the percentages. I asked them twice about the niacinamide (because I’m sensitive) and they told me something about “not giving away their secrets”.
