    I've been rinding Lurpivs for a month or so. Took 5 mins to break in and they feel really good. Turns great without having to be so loose. Only thing is the kingpin is quite high. Got snagged on a little thing, so I'm going to round it off with a file.

      I like mine too I got the 160s I took off the top washer and put the flat washer from the bones bushings I feel like it gives it more turn

    Wow I took out all the washers on the trucks to make them more loose! Idk why I’ve always liked my trucks to be more on the loose side. I feel like washers just stop my truck from turning the way I want to turn

    • @MichaelRelevant
      @MichaelRelevant  2 місяці тому +1

      Yeah the trucks turn too much. If I put two washers on thunders I wouldn’t turn at all. Did you see my original lurpiv video? So much wheel bite.

      @@MichaelRelevant yeah I did watch the other video you made and I did notice you were getting way more wheel bite than I ever was. But then again I’m only 5’7 130 pounds so I feel like a lot of it has to do with my weight… when I first had them I skated them stock without tightening or loosening them but they felt too tight but then again I wasn’t getting wheel bite at all, but as soon as I took off all the washers I noticed I would get wheel bite here and there but nothing too crazy. I skated the Indy trucks stage 4 the same way and I was getting major wheel bite but I just love the way trucks feel with no washers! Maybe because the Indy trucks had stock 90a bushings while the lurpivs have a 92a I feel like that makes a really big difference? I have now skated Indy’s, ventures, krux and now lurpivs all the same way no washers and the lurpivs are the best feeling ones so far in my opinion.

    Is it the redesign mini logo truck? I know that’s a low? Or the 8 hole baseplate ventures? Or redesign thunders?

    • @MichaelRelevant
      @MichaelRelevant  2 місяці тому

      So it’s not that mini logo truck but have you seen that mini logo truck they’ve been working on? It’s crazy. I’ve been talking to my friend Ben De Gros about those. He tried them out. It’s like a mini super low longboard truck.

      @@MichaelRelevant yes there are some pics of that truck online, it’s super futuristic for sure and looks like you said, one of those precision trucks.

      There’s $100 fee if you’re becoming a member but the first month is free and it’s $50 a month after that if you’re just going for the day it’s $20 if you are a kid under 18 from the Portland area in Louisville, it is five dollars.

    I love Pschmitt but his logic on wheelbase is very flawed lol. I'm not tall but I'm very wide so I like a decent mid 14.25 wheelbase, even though I'm only 5'4''. By his logic I should be riding like, 13.5? 14 inch wheelbase already feels to short for me. I literally set up a board to my "specifics" according to Schmitt, and surprise surprise, I can't skate it lol. It definitely doesn't help that I'm not good with changing sizes and setups, but I still think his logic is flawed.

      Sometimes it doesn’t, but these bearings feel really slow. Maybe if I pop the shields and put a little WD-40 or something in there.

      people ride trucks that feel good to them, if it’s not for you so be it. Actual skateboarders enjoy options and experimenting, with the name skate nerd you sure aren’t one. Be open to the world of skateboarding like the rest of us

      So you like short trucks that don’t carve or turn as much? I have a lot of trucks in my garage. Lots of thunders I’ve been on them for decades. I know a lot about thunders and Indy’s. They’re good but I’d take slappys over them.

      Are you stuck in 2012..? Just Indy or thunder? Seriously? 😂 85% of people I know have ace af1’s lol. Not to mention, ace, slappy, and lurpiv are all just modern redesigns of older stage Indy’s anyway. Indy even rereleased their stage 4 on their own. Please educate us on which of those aren’t “real trucks” and why🤔 why are you skating some “fake” modern bs stage 11’s like a kook..? My lurpivs are a stronger Indy stage 1🤷🏼‍♂️ doesn’t get much more real than the original geometry…
