@@doubleodave Cracks on some of the body holes, but you can't tell. Class 52 didn't fare as well the weight came lose and smashed the centre window glass housing and bent the coupler.
Talking of bush. Has anyone else noticed that some weed, proper ganja flower actually creates very realistic bushes? It’s very cheap here in Thailand so I’ll be mixing some in with my trees when I get round to them. Edit. I’ve just checked my wall, it’s a gecko Dave. 👍
Another enjoyable video, Dave. Good to see you've got that giant lizard under control. Maybe he grew that big by eating leftovers from Maggies cafe 😂 ... Cheers James 🙂👍
Bit late now, but just use black tack, shove a tiny bit in the NEM socket and then push the coupling into the socket, it's quite a tight fit but they won't easily come out mate... Done this with a lot of my magnetic couplings to get custom lengths etc Take care pal❤️
Cheers Craig, to be fair I did have the Hunts in with blacktac but over time even they were pulling out, I think knowing what I know now I should have probably pva’d them in and they would have been alright, because I sometime run silly pace if I didn’t see them come looks the train was literally smashing into the back of the escapees! I think the length of the train was putting a fair bit of strain on them, like I’ve always said the magnets are superb, wish they could be made of plastic as they’d probably be the best on the market.
Got some Hornby magnetic couplings today. They are brilliant. 17 mm for a few wagons I have. 20 mm perfect for rake of mk 1 Bachmann's. I have left the tension lock couplings on the ends, and have removed the hooks off the tension lock couplings from both loco ends. ( think they look better) Run great, coupled really close, don't uncouple even on rad 2 corner. Just need to sort magnets on track to uncouple. Cheers.
Superb, a great ending. My only regret is that I can’t subscribe twice. Some absolutely incredible camera work again. You had me a bit worried threatening to close the channel if ladderman’s idea didn’t work. We dodged a bullet there.
Another fantastic video Dave. I used to watch the Piddle Folk channel but this is far superior. I do think that £25 a slice is a bit much for that shortbread, mind you it is on railway property so what can you expect? A bit like airport prices.
I’ve felt the tension & I’m now going for a lie down. 😳 Decent result with the lizard there Dave. I saw Richard the other weekend at that DEMU model show, I asked him about your Colas 37 & he ignored me, turned about and legged it. Not sure what that’s about? Cracking nonsense as per😎 John b

Yeah I considered using red buffers for the quest but ladderman insisted as it was episode 37 of the storyline series it had to be a 37, he also had 37 beers prior to starting it and 37 packets of crisps- it was a theme. Plus he said the 56 wouldn’t make the vortex jump 🤷🏻♂️
I really enjoy the trains but I had to call my cable tv company and complain about the scrambled audio signal. They sent out a technician and he said the audio wasn’t scrambled but I was watching a foreign language film and needed to turn on the subtitles. I did that but it seems the subtitles are scrambled too. I had a friend over, who happens to be from the UK and he told me it was actually English, but I think he was pulling my leg.😂
Whilst we wait your return from Dad duties, I’m going through your previous vids, just as funny listening to your commentary the 2nd time round… Do I get a Brucey’s bonus for doubling up on likes???
25 quid a slice damn cheap send me a wagon load 😮 oh Dave I’m roasting hot but definitely need to get railway shed only problem since doing roof putting metal cladding all round it’s covered in lizards and geckos av you sent ladderman down south with spawn of the devil 😅
Well I'm in Australia and I can't have a railway in the loft because it's too shallow with the roof pitch being quite low. I'm nearly 6' and I can't stand up in my loft. In summertime it's just too hot up there getting well above 50 degrees in the loft so a layout in the main house, garage or a layout in a shed in the backyard is what we have to have. Even then we have to put in an air conditioner otherwise we roast as does the railway. Unlike the US we don't have large basements for a central heating system. The US has Alligators and we have their cousin the Crocodile, salt and fresh water. Fresh water are harmless but salties look upon us a food but they're only in the "top end" and there's no "Crocs" walking the streets in Sydney. Spiders yes were the Redback and the Funnel Web and you see photos here on YT of people with a spider in their shoes and that only happens if they're stupid enough to leave them outside. As I type this I have a Huntsman Spider on the wall and he/she's big the size of an outstretched hand but they don't make webs and they eat all the little critters. They're not dangerous to us humans. Oh yes we have the most deadly snake in the world the Inland Taipan but it only lives in the very remote parts of Australia and you have to know where to look to find it and there's enough venom in one bite to kill one hundred adults. I've been to the remote parts and I've never seen one and I'm not desperate to either. It spends most of it's life underground eating rodents. Despite what some YT videos portray our snakes do their best to keep out of our way. They'll only strike and bite at lightening speed if you're stupid enough to get in their way and every move they make to get away you block them. The Eastern Brown will rear up and recoil as a warning and if you move out of it's way then it drops to the ground and slithers away nice and quick. But if you don't then it will strike and it's deadly to us humans with it's venom killing you in about 45 minutes. Only recently there was some worker in a day care place that saw an Eastern Brown snake and went after it instead of getting himself and the kids inside and phoning the wildlife rescue and he lost for the snake bit him and within 45 minutes he was dead. Our wildlife is NOT to be trifled with.
@@doubleodave When we see a Huntsman spider on the wall of a room it is an "oh sh*t!" moment. But they just sit there and eventually wander off. That's only in the summertime for now it's winter here and all spiders are hiding away.
