    A lot of these tones can be found cheaply on the used market here in the US. EHX Rams head muffs can be purchased used for like $70, the TC Flashback mini can be purchased used for like $60. A used Pro Co Rat can be purchased used for like $50. The Boss overdrive in the used market can be found for like $40. At least as of 2023. Buying used and in good to excellent condition can save one a lot of money. One can buy brand name and quality without spending too much money, when compared to buying brand new. By the way great video my friend.

      Yeah, I just looked the prices from Amazon tbh. I own a lot of used pedals and never had an issue.

    Nice video Mustafa. To be fair you should add $329 for using DG20 pickups.

      why, do you add your vintage pickups to the budget?

    • @RodStewart_Geek
      @RodStewart_Geek Рік тому

      @@emreaydner638 Yes. I’m currently building out a new guitar and I very much had to figure in custom pickups (custom shop 69s and a SSL5) because I knew that was going to up the cost $300-$350. They’re too expensive to not be considered. Especially for someone who is in the budget pedal market.

    Going down the rabbit hole of inexpensive petals to round out the effects I want, and I have no issues with them at all. I am just a hobbyist so the cool variety of sounds is awesome bang for the buck so far. I only use five petals, pretty much just variations of what you have presented today. Thanks for the heads up on some gear.

    Great video. This is really for 99 percent of people just wanting to get some Pink Floyd tones down but not in a cover band. You can even get these pedals cheaper used on the Reverb online market.

    Great video, and I'm looking forward to seeing your future review of the TC Electronic Flashback 2 pedal. I bought it myself just last week after hearing good things about it, but it wasn't until I took it out the box and wondered what the USB socket was for that I discovered TonePrint. Wow!

      Eu tenho 5 desses mini pedais da mooer, comprei todos no AliExpress, e sairam barato sim. Sem dúvidas são o melhor custo benefício que existe!
      Agora boss e Tc eletronic são caros pra nossa realidade.

    The Boss Digital Delay is probably worth considering if you buy one used, etc. Not too expensive.

    I use 2 boss SD1s. One set to a dark warm overdrive before my Big Muff, and one set to a brighter low-end-rolled-off setting after my Big Muff.
    There's been very little drive/fuzz/distortion that having 2 SD1s hasn't been able to cover for me. Bought both of them for 35 bucks each used. Doesn't get better than that.
    It doesnt hurt that David used SD1s in the 80s quite a bit, and got some of my favorite tones out of it.

    • @mustyguitar
      @mustyguitar  Рік тому +2

      I'm not sure David ever used SD-1, but he used ProCo Rat a lot and "tone-wise", they're close.

      @@mustyguitar Yeah Breakfast is correct there are pictures of Davids SD1 on his 84 board . Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive, Boss GE-7 Equalizer, Boss CE-3 chorus , Boss CS-2 compressor/Sustainer, Boss HM-2 Heavy Metal, Boss DD-2 Digital Delay X 2 .

      @@parabot2 right, I think, I saw one, now that you mentioned it. I'm not sure he used it though. he had tc electronics line driver, booster around those times. Still, if he didn't like it, he wouldn't have it. those were the times that he was still trying out different overdrives until he finally decides tube driver is the one.

    Id say this setup is also option no1 for small gigs by average players. The guy that uses a 500$ amp and a 500 guitar will opt for these pedals because they are value for price. There are a lot cheaper pedals that sound less PF authentic.
