Now doing lesson 3 in book 3 at a slow pace I'm doing things that other method books of same level have not done.I really like how well you explain lessons.I Thank You .
I really enjoy your lessons. Clear explanation and demonstration.
Many thanks!
👌
I think Stefan is wrong about the opus no. This piece should be opus 821 no. 17, instead of opus 160.
Thanks so much for pointing that out. Don't know how I missed that. Op.821 is called 160 exercises, and I think I mixed up the two numbers. Will correct the books for future editions.
I don't understand why it's necessary to have the two notes in the bass clef written together on the same line (crotchet and minim). Wouldn't the minim alone do the same job)?
It means it has 2 voices for on the bass clef. 1st voice is the crotchets only, 2nd voice is the minim only.
@@robypeng No, sorry, still don't understand the point of the crotchets there. Thanks for your reply though - sorry if I'm being a bit thick!
@@angelanewman5566 No worries :) I know it seems "useless" if you see it from piano point of view but perhaps you can treat it like a voice part in a choir, i.e. bass 1 and bass 2, each sing a different note (thus crotchet and minim).
@@robypeng Okay, thanks for that.
