Looks amazing Fil! You can see the passion you have for this one buggy. Would be like me getting a NIB Raider ❤️ I love that black chassis amigo! Very cool 🙌🏻
Yeah dude, this one hits home for me. I was about 13 or so, I finally had a job, I had a little money, and I bought the RC10T for myself. I was a proud lad! 😄👊🏼
You did a great unboxing there, including tyre sniff. Nooo do a build video, and maybe Gary will turn up 🐈 Remember to get some HPI tyres, they smell good and so strong 💫
Gary has been hiding in the dark lately, lol! It's too hot for him up in the hobby room this time of year. Poor guy... 🐈 I've gotta hit up those HPI tires! 😎
Oh you lucky man!! Wish associated would sort out their supply issues so we could all get the opportunity to own one of these bad boys......I'm sure they would sell heaps! Out they come.......and they're gone! (just like in the South Park cut away!) 😁 And remember Fil......tire sniffings bad....mmmmkay!!😁 Tires killed Kenny,God dammit! Lovely looking kit dude,I'm sure that's going to look and run so nicely. Enjoy! And,as a bonus, you get a proper manual to....I'm definitely with you on that one! 👍 👍 👍
Yeah the whole "direct to buyer" methodology is a little whack. But I have seen some of these RC10T's in stores as well. So I'm a little confused with what they're doing, exactly. That could also be the tire sniff affecting my brain though... lol! Hopefully you guys get a good batch over the pond in the near future. 👌
Almost fogged your glasses when you opened the tires bag 😅 Very nice unboxing as usual. Wish I could have one, but not cheap in Switzerland. Can't wait to see it finished and hopefully compared to your old one 👍🤝
Yeah, man, I'm happy for you! Getting a new version of that old dream of an RC car, that's so nice! Looking forward to see it assembled and ready, hopefully even for a run? I'm happy to announce that Associated have actually switched to metric on the newer kits, I just did a more modern buggy from them, it's awesome, the Reflex 14b. Have a great time at Axialfest, dude!
Oh man, that tyre sniff!!! Nearly knocked you out there dude! 😅😅 That must have been one big rubber hit! I'm loving this kit though fil, the body is gorgeous. But hey, "You B@stards"!!! 🤣🤣 No pre cut decals! You made me spit my tea out dude! Enjoy the build! 😎👊🦫👍
Hahahaha, glad you got a good laugh there, pal! I was seriously devastated when I realized those stickers weren't pre-cut! How dare they!?!?!?! 😤 But all jokes aside, this kit brings me back to 1992/3 when I'd built a backyard track and I would spend days back there turning laps with my RC10T. Some great memories.... 😄
A year or so ago I featured my friend Bruce’s original RC10T. He bought it new in 91. He went from racing Blackfoot’s to RC10’s.. he drilled his chassis with lightning holes to even out the weight distribution, and has tires that they would cost in silicone for better grip on the carpet tracks. He’s got hundreds of stories on the rc10T. I just showed him the rere. I think he’s gonna get one to put on the shelf next to his original racer
I agree the print manual is nice to have while building. I just wish they did a better job with it! I only had a couple complaint and the manual was definitely one of them. Not including servo horns, a baseline pinion and motor screws was kind of silly. They could have at least given the suggestions for servo horn length, a round about tooth count for the pinion or a gear ratio chart to base a decision off of. I did enjoy building it but it would have been a lot better if I did not have to guess at things! LOL! I will have a build video out soon!
I drove past Hamilton going from Mississauga to Niagra. Then on the way home I went to big boys with cool toys. Thats where I got my GT3 and a few recivers. This time next week I will be in Tokyo hitting up Suoer Rajikon and fill up my bags as its so cheap there.
@@poorboysrc yeah its sweet as , for sure I'm lucky to travel. Its mostly the Asia Pacific region but sometimes Europe, Canada, South America and soon North America. The perks are good but getting there sucks, but being there is always nice. I wish everyone had the opportunity to travel.

nice to see my hometown of Cambridge, Ontario there on the map! not quite sure about the hobby store in Hamilton, but i do remember Paris Hobby and they are still open along with in Kitchener, Fight Craft. saves me the time and gas to go there rather then into Mississauga. can't wait to see it built and out for it's first run! cheers. hopefully your bare feet smelled better than that tire sniff. hahaha!
I grew up right by you, in Brantford. I remember "Herb's Hobby Shop" in Paris, back in the late 80's/early 90's. He would chain smoke in that little shop and every time we came out, our parents would question us if we were smoking or not. Lol! 🤣
I think I'll have to take it for a proper rip. It's been a long time since I've driven one, and I think the dose of nostalgia would be most excellent. As for the tire bag sniff... Oh man, that sent me to Jupiter and back! 😂🤢
