Tractor Stuck in the MUD!

- The John Deere 410R tractor is stuck DEEP in the mud in one of our fields. Watch as we tackle the challenge of pulling it out several times. After the recovery, we resume spraying from the drier side before the sun goes down.
The next day, I join Caleb, our custom applicator, to learn about the spraying technology and prepare for more mud challenges. Today's video demonstrates how this year's excess moisture continues to impact our farming operations.

Matthias, aka HiTech Farmer, is a 5th generation family farmer from Southwest Minnesota who promotes agriculture by capturing it through the lens of a camera, one video at a time. Passionate about emerging farm technologies and the benefits of 21st-century precision agriculture tools, such as farm equipment, GPS, and autonomous tractors, Matthias is determined to bring new methods into his operation. These methods can improve his farm's efficiency and sustainability into the future. Learning from his parents' (Mike and Dawn) work ethic, Matthias sees every day as an opportunity to educate and entertain about the daily triumphs and challenges his farm faces, whether technology-related or not. His mission is to share his enthusiasm and knowledge of agriculture as he embarks on what it means to be a farmer in the modern era.
That tractor was so down so deep... during harvest it's going to be a challenge too! I hope the weather cooperates and the fields dry out so you're able to replant!
The excess moisture continues to cause troubles. Fingers crossed we can replant next week
Might be time to get your pilots license. Drone or fixed wing!
I have my drone license. Just would need to get the equipment
Glad to see you’re still able to continue the necessary spray applications in most areas!
Me too!
Gator and a top air sprayer.
Thats hard work, having to deal with those situations. Greetings from Ireland
Just hoping the pattern turns drier before harvest...
back to the old crop duster it is then :)
After I win the lottery and I buy my 2,000 acre or a 5,000 acre farm, I'm going to buy me one of them there drone sprayers.
That would be a dream I would buy a couple of Hagie sprayers
@@hankschikora9446 Great minds do think alike.
That's why we put duals on the back of our sprayer
I have a question for you why does farmers Trade in their new tractors? or new combine? and it is only between 2 or 3 years old?
Tax write offs.
This screams spraying by drone? Right?
@burz no just big wheels and 3 trucks. With best-way in the bed.
The drones have 12 gallon tank, this sprayer has a 1000 gallon tank. The drones are ideal for situations where we apply less chemical to the acre. Here in our soybeans we are applying between 10-20 gallons an acre. So the drone would need to refill every acre.
New Sub here
Have a Small Hobby Farm but like watching you Big Boys and your BIG TRACTORS 😀
You do great video editing and have a great personality for the UA-cam’s 👍
Welcome! I just checked out your channel and it seems like the place for all things Kubota and their mowers. I gave it a subscribe to see what I can learn about them.
Do you live in Brewster, Minasota?
Crop dusters.
That's an option, a more expensive option though
What are you spraying?
Spraying for weeds in soybeans, specific chemicals include: Liberty and RoundUp
Why aren’t u spraying with fat tires is my question?
Because fat times won’t fit between the rows without running crop down
Should have duels on like our co-op.
Farmer my field is wet lets go in the wet spot that we know is there then put it on the channel.
Him: Before people start spamming the comments
Video: 8k views 😂
Better invest in some airplanes
Hire a drone young man
Problem is gallons per acre. I'll have a video on it coming soon
I've done my fungicide on wheat for 2 years now. Seems to work
On fungicide it works great, for herbicide we use too many gallons per acre to be efficient
Tractor 🤣.Now I know why I quit watching your videos
