I'll check it out. I was raised on a farm. I used old pots and pans and stuff around the ranch and built my own Moonbase Alpha. I would step around it flying my model Eagle in my hand landing and sometimes crashing on the moon surface. I would create aliens using other models and imagined all the drama unfolding beneath those hoses and pots and pans and blocks of wood. Space:1999 will always have that special place in my heart of imagination.
I've been having fun with my old die-cast eagles respraying and retrofitting parts that were broken, bought these and they are fantastic, love them.
A thing of beauty.
I was born in 74, i got a load of hand me down toys from the teen kid next door when he moved out, i got like 5 eagle spaceships in green, white and blue with attachable pods underneath, i loved them yet i had no idea until i much older they were from a show, core memories
I definitely will display it on my desk! When I was a kid I thought this was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen
Actually, I have both of them, which were released in Japan decades ago. I believe they were cast using the same mold. They are well-made, and I recommend getting them.
The correct colour, unlike a particular line that was sold in the seventies. Never did know why that was🤔
Dinky execs thought kids would want green and blue because white was boring. When in reality we all wanted exactly what we saw on TV!
I always thought the eagle was the most believable spacecraft.
My dad already has two plastic transporters and a metal rescue, he’s a big fan of the show, on my end… I would really love to see some Thunderbirds replicas 😅
fitting given production started in late 1973, and Barry Gray's grand theme.
More than happy with my Product Enterprise Eagles from way back (I have six). They had the 'beak' components moulded in such a way as to eliminate the visible join. Eaglemoss went the cheapest route and just made two identical halves, and I don't think the pod is removable either
If the pod doesn't come off they are not worth the money. We need a better quality diecast for this money. It's a shame as really liked these.
First thing I noticed about these was the gantries. Way too thick and not even rounded. They're not a patch on the Product Enterprise ones. :(
@@hunterr1ar727They are models not play things.
I have a complete fleet of 6 PE 12" Eagles on my wall but thought I'd just have a quick watch anyway ... then Barry Gray's theme kicked in and I was a kid playing with my Dinky Die-cast Eagles again! Great ad. Good luck with the release.
Oh yeah, that Barry Gray theme always takes me back to when I was 10 years old 😉
A set of SHADO Interceptor and SHADO SkyDiver + Submarine Collectable from U.F.O. would be incredible.
Product Enterprise if you can find them are superb I've got the full set.
I have a Product Enterprise one, that'll do me. A bit expensive at a time when people are struggling to survive, it makes buying these somewhat not an important investment.
0:33 And BOOM! That's when the pre-order goes in!
Ce vaisseau quelle classe 👌 j'ai un modèle au 1/72e de sixteen 12 superbe ! 😍
I've wanted an Eagle for ages
They look amazing besides the dorsal and ventral RCS thrusters on each of the quads.
The nozzles are kinda merged with the structure into a tube.
VERY NICE REPLICATORS AND MUSIC 😊😊😊
Yes, you too can crash your collectible Space:1999 Eagle in your backyard sandbox and then blow it up with firecrackers 🧨 Order now!
They are lovely but they look too much like toys for me. I’ll just have to add some weathering. The 22” model kit is much better value for money but I appreciate not everyone likes to make the models.
look good! very details piece of metal! But, any moveable parts? or detail like cockpit or rescue pod internal structure?
I got the eagle moss ones are these like those?
Same.
When will we get a Fireball XL5?
TB 2 coming in April.
They look really nice. But it's such a shame these is a nice join on the nose cone. So much so that the panels don't line up. Is that just on the one you show here or all of them?
The nose seam needs to be better. And the cargo areas need to come off. If it doesnt do that....the price is way too high so im out. Its a shame as I wanted these. But thats too rich for what they are.
£50 off if you bought both
£99.99 is the special pre order price. The full price is £124.99 !!!!!Just cashing in on lifelong fans bit sad really
I thought they should be £19.99 🤣🤣
For 100 pounds they shouldn’t have such visible seems. Yikes.
@@dogspunkthe seams are invisible unless you're looking at an extreme closeup with an HD camera
@@ACtheLegend so when I see them clearly on UA-cam it’s an hd extreme close up? I’m just looking at what they’re showing me. Even the models and toys of the 70s didn’t have such awful seams across the “face” of the ship. In the shot of the right hand side of the nose, it doesn’t even line up well and the steering rocket doesn’t match up top to bottom. It immediately pulls you out of the suspension of disbelief that make models an interest. It’s sad.
@@dogspunk I'm looking at one right now and don't notice any seam.
The one and only... flying phallus designed for children to gawk at in wonder.
Just looked yeah did they just buy out the remaining eaglemoss kits? Kinda expensive in the states, maybe I’ll grab a Mark 9 Hawk at some point
How big are they?
In old measure 10inch long
Want. Want. Want. Want. Want. Want.
Collecibles?
Or Collectables?
Collectibles are things for collectors like models etc, collectables are things that are collected like rent, keys etc
@@ACtheLegend That's spooky, I was just researching this! Apparently in British English we can get away with using collectables more broadly, but from what I've read in this sense collectibles is more accurate globally.
@@ExcelsiorsDomain it's fairly new to me too, evety day's a school day 😊
no mention of size or price... also the top and bottom jets on the landing pods look wrong
10 inch long £125each or buy both for £200
Plastic or die-cast metal?
Quite pricey. Sadly.
Should be half the price if you scaled up the price of the originals.
Remember everyone higher inflation and production costs.
