Strageic Air Command and Aerospace Museum

Runaway with HandK, as we visit the Strategic Air Comma and Aerospace Museum in Ashland Nebraska.
Bonus on our visit, it was Father's Day and there was a car show spread throughout the hangers amongst the aircraft.

My first trip here was back in 1991 with my JROTC unit. Back then, it was a hanger on Offutt AFB. I thought it was weird to move it, but its in a MUCH better facility now even though its kinda funny to see a B-1 just chillin on the back lot because there is no room inside. Without it at least being on a stick, its totally out of context.
Edit: i see they have since moved it out front and painted it a weird color since my last trip in 2015.

Great video. I moved to Omaha in 2005 and this was my first place I had to visit. I am a huge aviation buff. I go every year there now on my birthday, sorta my ritual now. Father was avionics tech in the Air Force and a private pilot so grew up around aircraft.
