I've always done low water at NB/Derby Pool, then high water at Caldy! Always a better chance of fish there, even if your on the rocks!!
Any blow lug I have left, I dry them, then salt them, wrap up and into the freezer. Good winter baits, especially for dabs off Talacre!!

Never mind mate you win some you lose some I've only fished there twice and blanked I got cut of by the tide on prestatyn beach last week so I don't think I'd be walking out as far you did I probably would end up floating down the mersey😂

Tidy little session Hakan, don't look like a beach that you should fish alone if you haven't fished there before.

Could the derby pool be spearfished do you reckon?
I can't see why not, you could spearfish in that channel where I fish on this video but tide run might be too strong, or you could try next to t-groyn over high water on a calm day, you ll have a good chance of a bass and plaice this time of the year, if u ever end up spearfishing it pls let me know as I would like to know and might try it out myself 😁👍
