- In this video, an old persimmon tree root and epoxy resin are used to make a vase.
Since this is my first time using epoxy resin, I will continue to gain experience.
It root wasn't strong and it was very weak, but I hope you can see it till the end.

There's something so satisfying about watching the color get mixed in the epoxy to me. Great color matching!

今回のは初めてのレジンでしたが、木が柔らかいのとレジンと石が硬いので木をツルツルに仕上げる事が出来ませんでした💦

Hi 👋, very nice work, I am not telling you what to do, but if you’ve got a vacuum chamber and put your wood and resin into that first and keep creating a vacuum, it will draw the resin into the punky wood, you will find your need more resin though and this might take you an hour or so to get the air out of it or most of it, then put it into the pressure pot, As a guy over in Canada called Sprague Woodturning, you might find it interesting, he does a lot with wood and resin, and he likes to cause what they call thermal cracking, where he goes back in after the resin gone off and then refills the cracks with different colour resin, though this can be very costly, I suppose, in some respect, it’s similar to the art of, Kintsugi, which I’m hoping to try next year, Good luck with your projects, hope you have a great weekend, Phil from the moulin, France .
Had a Quick Look at Sprague’s work. I’m sure he’s very talented but his aesthetic is not too my taste 😊 YMMV
