  • Join me on an unforgettable journey from Anchorage to Barrow with Alaska Airlines. After landing, I’ll stay at the cozy King Eider Inn, preparing for the next part of my adventure.
The next day, I’ll fly with Wright Air Services from Barrow to Point Lay. In Point Lay, I’ll navigate the town cautiously after being forewarned about a polar bear sighting near the clinic.
I’ll also show you how I filter my own water to ensure safe hydration during my stay. On the return journey, I’ll take a scenic detour to Point Hope before heading back to Barrow with Wright Air.
    *Watch to discover:*
Scenic flights over Alaska’s Arctic region
A cozy stay at the King Eider Inn in Barrow
Navigating Point Lay with polar bear warnings
    Water filtration for safe hydration
Scenic detours to Point Hope and back to Barrow
Explore the remote communities and breathtaking landscapes of Alaska’s Arctic with me. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more travel adventures and tips!

The water in Point Lay is drinkable from the tap unless they are doing maintenance and then the boil notice is a precaution because of open lines. Other than that, the water is fine to drink out of the tap.
