I'd say my town/country experience is the opposite. Where traffic and street noise is high I find it hard to hear my bone conduction headphones clearly at all. In the country they sound great and allow you to hear the odd car coming up behind without the terrifying horn toot!

Hey - if you click "use voucher" on the page it enables a UK discount to reduce the price by £20, then the code reduces it further to £74.99 :)

Talking of tech. How are you finding the Epix 2 vs the Fenix 7 you gave to Liz? I’ve a Fenix 6x but looking to upgrade. Just not sure on the battery on the Epix for daily training.

It's an interesting one! When I start an activity, the "remaining battery time" is indicated to be a lot shorter than then Fenix, never more than 20-22 hours or so, whereas the Fenix would show higher than that. With all the same settings, I get around 7 days of normal use out of it, but now I've turned the display to "sleep" after 8 seconds and only come up when I lift my wrist up or tap the screen, this has risen to a similar level to the Fenix, 9-11 days. It's not an apples to apples comparison though as my Fenix is the Solar model so probably benefits from that

@@TriathlonDan thanks. And you think the solar on the Fenix actually gave you any extra battery- never knew Derby had Sahara-esque sunshine. Much better than Manchester clearly 😂
