The clock scene in the original was better. Because those clocks were very creative, including the spanking one. This version puts too many Disney references which doesn't add anything except distraction, in my opinion.

@@I_Love_Rainbows510 I think in this version, the child getting spanked was secretly plotting to get revenge on his mother by pretending to sound like he was being molested or whatever and it worked, and might have later encouraged his friends to do the same thing the next time they get disciplined for wrongdoing. I say this is showing that the government wants to raise and discipline your kids themselves and look what happened in Pleasure Island later in the film.

They missed an opportunity for Peter Pan & Alice in Wonderland themed clocks on the wall, as well as the Pooh-Coo Clock (Pooh Bear's cuckoo clock).
If these clocks were real (and not expensive), I'd buy the Woody & Bullseye one for my nephew, the Lion King one for my niece, the Dumbo clock for my baby nephew, and the Roger Rabbit one for myself.
Not to mention frozen, encanto, Little mermaid, mulan, Pocahontas and hercules and cinderella

Okay, not gonna lie, this was a very cheap bit of fanservice, and I fail to see it's purpose, but it was still kinda imaginative. The Sleeping Beauty one and the Snow White one was my favorite (which is kind sick, actually). At least it remembered why we liked the clocks from the original. And I would buy all of these in a heartbeat.

I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this, but I think the fact that these clocks reference other Disney movies is actually kinda cool. I won't say the REST of the movie is any good (partially because I haven't seen it, I'm only going by what I heard) but yeah.
The reason this scene is a flop because if you take a look at the original one:
The clocks make a good harmony for every clock that chimes,each showing morbid features on the clocks itself. But why? Because Gepetto is old enough to witness all the negativity this world has to offer,they're all real. But even then,the clocks still play a beautiful tune,implying that despite all the negativity,life keeps on going and Gepetto knows this...
What the remake did is remove Gepetto's worldly knowledge and replaced the clocks with things that even Gepetto won't even see in the real world. You're basically watching 30 seconds of Disney advertisements and worse,the clocks don't even make harmony.
@@AllenTheAnimator004 Well I don't think it would have been easy for the writers to know that's why that's the original worked. I'm not saying the remake is any good, but my point still stands.

This scene wasn't interesting at all. It was a downgrade of an even better clock scene from an even better Pinocchio movie
The fact that they added the bee clock from the OG. Whilst changing the others like the Turkey, 2 Ducks, Mom slapping baby, Mother bird and 3 younger birds, Clown nose, Man shooting bird and etc.

The Disney references didn’t bother me, it was the fact that every single one of those clocks was CGI. They couldn’t even bother making a real wooden clock because they didn’t care about this movie
