First of all, love the High country you took some awesome footage and second, hats off to you for attempting a solo trip. I really admire your courage because every time I decide to do a solo trip I wuss out and wait for mates to be available. Well done.
It's amazing country up there , I've tracked all over that country prospecting ,researching, locating and photographing aboundoned and lost mining sites. Great video.
Awesome video Ebb wow what some stunning scenery it’s definitely a beautiful country. I can’t wait to do my first camping trip in my Jimny trying to get it set up and ready to get away in it and buy camping gear is well. So looking forward to seeing you on your next trip take care of yourself
Just found your channel. Well done on the fantastic filming. Over the last few days I’ve done a fair bit of research on the mines and tunnels in the area where the road collapsed you mentioned. It’s amazing how many shafts and tunnels there are in that location. They are hundreds of feet long and several levels hundreds of feet deep. It’s amazing the road hasn’t actually fallen in ages ago. Hit subscribe button for you.
If you do a search on jackass mines you’ll come up with a fair bit of information and there are also diagrams of all the tunnels and shafts. If you look hard enough to find them all on geological survey Victoria website.
Thank you for sharing! I’ll have to look into it, I’ve looked into mine shafts in other areas of the high country but not this location. Thanks for the sub as well I appreciate it.
Nice video. Enjoyed it. I like your ‘ back to basics’ approach to the camp set up and meal. Was that nice campsite you discovered up near Mt Murray? Cheers
Nice Video but just out of interest why camp on the top of a hill? Windy and cold. Especially in the high country where there are rivers in every valley. Just wondering.
Good stuff! VHC is real special. Came here thanks to Campingmates!

How have I not stumbled on your YT before ! Great video Ebb! 👋🏻
Thank you kindly! Always love watching yours ☺️
Great ep, Ebb.
Love that part of the High Country. Actually, just love all the High Country.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for tuning in, and I completely agree!
That track reminds me so much of the trails here in Colorado!
Great ep, I inow that track well. It's a tight squeeze when someone is oncoming!
It sure is! Only passed one convoy but thankfully the jimny was small enough to perch up on the side of the track 😂
Well done on the video. Good to see another High Country enthusiast
Thank you for watching and I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Nothing beats the high country views.

Thank you! Yes it’s up near Mt Murray, next time I want to go check it out.
Nice one , i did lose my winch controller in the vhc but not there 😅. How good does the ozbarrier look , definitely well used now 👍🤠.
That’s the last place you’d want to lose one 😂 Always love the ozbarrier, definitely well seasoned now!
Wow wild dogs hey, do you hear them often, ever see them?
I don’t hear them too often, I’ve only really seen a dingo once out there!
What camera gear do you use
Hey I use a GoPro, DJI mini drone and a Sony a6000

It was extremely hot down in the valley, the temperature up on the mountain was perfect in my opinion!
What gps app are you using in video @6:35 ?
