Oh wow! I watch ToriMorrow as well. I really enjoyed the fifth season, but I think it's my favorite out of the series. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the green bone saga and love it when people have Jade City on their TBR. One thing I'll note is that I think people's expectations towards the series will influence how much you'll enjoy it.
I’m trying to go into Jade City minimal information. Im trying to also go in without expectations but knowing everyone already loves it means I probably do already have pretty high expectations 😂
Happy reading to you! So happy to see two of my favorite books of all times on your list: "Piranesi" and "The Sword of Kaigen". M. L. Wang's other standalone, "Blood Over Bright Haven" has similar themes to "Babel" and is a heart breaking Dark Academia.
It looks like you have a great reading year ahead of you! I loved The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi, and I hope you enjoy it too! The first half of the book isn't on the boat, and they spend a decent about of time on land later too. So many of the books you mentioned are on my tbr! I hope to read Jade City, Babel, and The Will of the Many soonish and I'm curious to hear your thoughts on them
It sounds like we both have a good TBR this year! Glad to hear that the adventures of amina al-sirafi isn’t set exclusively on a boat 😂 thank you for letting me know, I’m glad you enjoyed it, I’m sure I will too, it sounds like we have similar reading tastes!
@DataDad206 thank you! it’s www.goodreads.com/user/show/147252005-rebecca Once UA-cam gives me approval I’ll add the links to the description as well ☺️
I’m so glad I stumbled on your channel, either I’ve read books on your TBR and loved them either I want to read them ! I’ll advice you not to start reading a day of fallen night with a lot of expectations, even though it is beautifully written I thought it was a bit repetitive of the orange tree 😕 Can’t wait to watch your next review, enjoy the reading path ! ☕️
Thank you lovely! This was my worry about the day of fallen night, I think I’m going to hold off reading it until I’ve forgotten more of the priory of the orange tree plot!
