Brings to mind the numerous times I drove through “pigtown” as a MTA operator on that ole eleven bus line. Always kinda grimy picturesque but uneventful. I like to think it added to the aura of my spiritual growth and expansiveness as a writer. Observation and appropriate assimilation being key to expressive and distinctive articulation. “ Lord, thanks not only for bringing me into the sunlight but also for letting the rain fall down; it gives me strength brings me life.” That line from one of my favorite choruses underscores the absolute necessity of joy in adversity because of understanding in a truly worthwhile and successful life. This is why I have never been happier than now in close to eight years of retirement. GOD BE PRAISED. PWG

Black and whites live here. I’m from Baltimore and you’re driving in the better looking streets. Go to Wilkins Ave
Got lots of videos of Wilkens, I’m in that area a lot…. Just put one up a couple days ago specifically of Wilkens headed towards St Agnes
What about Washington Blvd
Paca Street so much you miss out
I was born and raised here.
This all looks so depressing.
Always has been, at least for the last 40 years.
