- Hello! Welcome to a new kind of ASMR trivia questions video. This one is based on "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?". There are 5 different topics (Math, History, English, Science, and Geography) and I ask you 5 questions each of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade level. Let me know what grade level you are for each topic! Also, I'm sorry that my stomach was growling and my neighbor was doing yardwork. I'm happy to have you here!

The one about the president of the confederate states should actually be Jefferson Davis! I’m not sure why that answer was wrong sorry about that. Also, Julius Caesar was never actually emperor of the Roman Empire

The history part of this video was intriguing seeing as I’m not American; the difference in history taught around the world is very interesting

Not to get political but unfortunately, Americans mostly learn whitewashed American propaganda in their country. In fact, partly due to that reason, it is interesting to see how history is taught around the world.
I love the video 🤩 although as a European I never learned what yards and feet are so I struggled with those 😆😆

I really enjoyed this trivia but sadly failed the 3rd grade math question about grams and kilograms because, even though I'm going into 11th grade and have learned conversions 2-3 times now, it didn't stay in my brain lol

I only learned about Marie Antoinette last year as a sophomore in high school. It’s honestly crazy how much American history is taught in America, I would much rather learn about other countries than learn about colonists and the civil rights movement for the 6th time

@@pamelaasmr yeah I love Trivia but I'm not very good at being smarter then a 12th grader I would be a smart guy to be smarter then a 1st to 5th grader believe I would be really smart if you asked me question from 1st to 5th grade so believe me I would ace some questions as long it's not math.

Maths: got like 95% just not the US system, don't speak American
Science (95% fell into geography in the UK 🤷♀️) has a geography gcse so did well
Geography: got nearly all just no the us states on cause British
English: been speaking it for 17 yrs so... did get most od them
This was really fun for me to see the difference in curriculum in the UK and US education system as I'm training to be a early years teacher here :)
I liked this a lot - although, I’m pretty sure Julius Caesar was never actually declared emperor. The first emperor was his nephew, Octavian, who became Augustus Caesar.

The answer to "How many Great Lakes are in the US" is four because one of them, Lake Ontario I believe (or maybe it is Huron?), is located entirely within the Canadian Border.
Okay yeah that makes sense. But I guess we always learn that there are 5 Great Lakes so that’s why that was the answer
The Great Lakes are all split between the US and Canada none of them are entirely in either place 😊

Everytime I see this phrase, it always reminds of that edit that rearranges the letters to say "Are you smarter than 5 gay rats?". Anyway killer video as always. Your trivia videos are the best I've found for knocking me straight out, even though I find them really interesting too!

Fun fact Julius Caesar was actually never a roman emperor. He was part of the first Triunvirato but the roman empire was formed many years after that

Most of the history questions I didn’t know because we don’t learn half these things in Canada

As I Brit I somewhat struggled with the grades bc I have different grading systems and some of the money questions as our currency’s are vastly different I’m in what we would call year 9 so I’m 14
Yeah I think that’s probably similar to our 9th grade. 5th grade is usually when you’re like 10/11
@@pamelaasmr yeah the history was difficult too. In our classes we learn British history and we don’t do sociology till GCSE when we are 17ish. I turned 10 in year 5 and 11 in year 6

I fundamentally disagree with the "How many times can 6 be subtracted from 48?". 6 is incorrect unless you ignore negative numbers. The true answer would be infinitely. I know these aren't your questions, just felt something about that one.
