Hey man. If someone files an extension on April 18th on turbotax is it still approved in time? We received an email saying it can take 48 hours for confirmation which is a bit concerning as I thought it was approved right away? Thanks in advance.
@@ogadinma01 I know for most people it took about a half an hour to an hour or so. You should get an email depending on who you did yours with since you did it by today. Took mine close to a half an hour or so.
In-depth video on paying 2022 Quarterly Taxes would be most helpful. Can Turbotax file it for you, and do you have to pay for Turbotax again each quarter? Or do you have to file quarterly with the IRS directly.
Hey Logan, so filing electronically on turbo tax is the same as mailing in a 4868 in person? Will it be considered late if I do it in person tomorrow at 4/18 Monday, but they receive it later? Will I be penalized if I estimate a 0 owed in taxes for the extension and pay at a later date?
So I think once you submit it by the due date you are fine and if you end up owing money even if you thought you didn’t you will still get the failure to pay penalty but it’s like a fraction of a percentage of what you would owe so as long as you pay in a reasonable amount of time your penalty won’t be high. He talked about it in his extension video from last year. Hope this helps

Who charged 15$. Turbotax was free. Maybe it depends on the type of information on the return?
