Had a pretty crummy experience at Cindy’s, but loved Be Our Guest. The quality of the food and some amazing cast members make the difference. Maybe if the princesses were back I might understand more of Cindy’s pull.
We did Be Our Guest in January, I was actually surprised that the food was as good as it was. The service was exceptional, maybe a little too good. I felt like our server never left our table.
I can see why CRT won just because of the “iconic“ factor, however I personally think BOG has the edge because of the food quality and the atmosphere/overall experience alone. The fact that CRT has taken away all of the princesses really takes away a lot of points for them.
Have eaten at both, I love Be Our Guest the most because of the food and the theming as Beauty and the Beast is my favourite Disney film. But in saying that I enjoyed Cinderella’s Royal table, food was better than I thought because I didn’t hear the greatest reviews for the food, but I did it for my 25th birthday and got to sit at the window looking over at Fantasy Land
I think everyone needs to eat in Cinderella Castle at least once, just to say they've done it. Aside from that, Be Our Guest has much more beautiful and immersive theming that Cinderella's Royal Table doesn't even come close to. And I think the food is better too.
We just enjoyed Cinderella’s Royal Table for the first time yesterday on our trip. We loved it! The fillet was sooo tender and delicious! The charcuterie board and Clock Strikes Twelve were also delicious. Such a beautiful setting! We sat by the windows overlooking Fantasyland. Can’t be beat!
I would love to see an all cabin type showdown on a Disney cruise with the whole cast! They could draw straws to see which cabin type they get. It would be an expensive video but could be stretched out as a series to cover other things in the cruise.
Having eaten at both in March 2021, Guest had better food, the West Wing has a great vibe, and the Beast was cool to see. But Royal table has that very iconic location.
When my daughter was young we went to CRT, the food was mediocre but she loved meeting all the princesses. She decided that was where she wanted to eat for her 16th birthday, food still wasn’t amazing but when your kid wants to be a princess you oblige.
I miss the old menu from King Stefan's Banquet hall. One of my favorite all time meals was the Majordomo's Favorite Pie back in the day. So good! I understand the change, because little girls want to meet the Princesses in the castle. But, oh was the old menu so much better.
My aunt Jody made a reservation for Be Our Guest restaurant when she was planning a surprise trip for my cousin Quentin and I. My parents, Grandma, aunt jody, her boyfriend Kim, their son Quentin and I walked into the West Wing dining room it thundered and lightening within a few minutes of us being there and I completely freaked out and we left but I would like to try Be Our Guest restaurant again but I would like to try Cinderella's Royal Table
Can’t wait for the eventual announcement that characters are completely back as they were pre-COVID. These restaurant prices will only be worth it (especially CRT) when that happens 😌🥳😊
We just went, and couldn’t pick between a castle, so we went to Cinderella’s Royal Table for breakfast and Be Our Guest for lunch! Both had yummy meals and great, immersive experiences. But I agree that they definitely aren’t a must for every trip, and you’re not paying for the best food, but rather the unique experience :)
I will, in fact, never go to CRT, have done BRG a long time ago and had the very best lamb chop dinner and the dessrts were to die for, then they changed the menu to pre fixe and I am so glad to have eaten there 5 yrs ago.
As French speaker. Been both of them 2 times. I can tell it’s definitely the Beauty and Beast that clearly almost taste our French cuisine. Quite accurate. It’s a hands down. Cinderalla is not that bad. Really appreciate those positive reviews Afterall they both our French Disney Princess. Those "Fleur de lis" ⚜️⚜️⚜️ represent our French Kingdom/the old Regim of France 5:26 "Vive la France !" 🟦⬜🟥🇫🇷🥖🥐🍞🍰🧀🍲🍷🍾 When my gilfriend and I went into the ballroom and started speaking French for our reservatiob, the cast members were quite nervous of our presence Love that guys pronunce our French words like "Filet mignons"
BOG was meh for me, especially for the price. On the other hand I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed CRT, even for the price. And the service was incredible, as well as the food.
I know they won’t because they make more per person per serving with the current set up, but I wish they would bring back the quick service meals at Be Our Guest. The food was cheap, but was enjoyable. Also when it’s 90+ out and super humid, I’m sorry, but I do not want one of the heavy meals currently offered. Cinderella’s Royal Table was a wonderful experience when I ate there pre-shutdown. I prefer the atmosphere in Be Our Guest, but given the decreasing food quality I’ve seen lately, I can’t justify the cost.
Are there breakfast times available @ Cinderella Castle prior to park entry? It will be my daughter’s first time to WDW and don’t want to waste a lot of park time with a meal as she is 5 and a picky eater but eating in the castle sounds amazingz
My wife and I went to both recently. Experience : Be Our Guest > Cinderella's. Food : Cinderella's > Be Our Guest We both had a much better meal at Cinderella's. I had the pork at both. It was REALLY good at Cinderella's. I really didn't like it at Be Our Guest at all. All that said, both were great for a one time thing, although we would likely go back to Cinderella's Castle next visit.
I understand that Cinderella' s Castle is iconic, but if I'm spending over $200 for a family meal then the food needs to also be good as well as the experience. Be Our Guest sounds like a better choice of the 2 for food and experience.
I'm kind of surprised that CRT had a higher rating than BOG. I've been to BOG twice and enjoyed it both times, but haven't been to CRT yet. If I do try it, it'll be breakfast first and then lunch or dinner. I'm just saving going there until I'm with a girl or somebody since I don't want to be the solo creepy guy just enjoying himself at the happiest place on Earth. Plus I don't want to go until all the princesses are invited back.
I did eat @Be Our Guest way b4 the pandemic & had so much for (sadly didn't get the gray stuff but mom & i were just walk ins for dinner) i thought the food tasted good "enough" (im a picky eater & just wasn't aware of all food options, i though i should order French food, so i got the quail since it was the french cousin of a chicken, wasn't a fan but glad i tried anyway) it was worth the hefty price @the time. But yeah since you can't experience the castle like once before the price should have been lowered (since you can only get the food now). I have never eaten @Cinderella's castle so i can't say
🏆: Neither What you Really want to do is go to Steakhouse 71 at The Contemporary Hotel.Your belly And your wallet will thank you. If you want to Eat with characters 😋( because who doesn't they're awesome) then go to The Garden Grill (EPCOT), Tusker House (AK), Trattoria (Beach/Boardwalk area) or Topolino's (Riviera). BOG and Cinderella Castle are both lack luster and overpriced for what they offer. They are 1 and done's. See them. Get your pictures 📸 and Never eat there again.
I don’t think characters are back yet at Trattoria. Big bummer bc Ariel and Rapunzel are my daughter’s two faves and we could have definitely killed two birds with one stone on that one.
I’ve been to both pre-shutdown and would have to say Cinderella’s Royal Table was more worth the cost for the experience. Since the price is the same but you don’t see princesses during your meal now that’s a huge drawback! My daughter had so many special moments with the princesses. Probably Be Our Guest now because experience hasn’t changed so drastically. I can’t comment on the food since we had special dietary needs.
Kristen Paladino I would say they were both equal since I had to order a meal coming from an outside vendor. I haven’t done it since 2019 so I can’t comment on what experience is like for special dietary needs currently.
Be our guest was garbage the whole experience was garbage and the food was so disgusting we couldn’t even eat it not even the kids liked the macaroni and cheese! Cinderella‘s Royal table was amazing we loved having special time with Cinderella before and after our meal the food was so incredible and the experience was amazing we will definitely be back every trip! By the way the gray stuff is disgusting! I can’t believe that you guys put down Cinderella‘s Royal table so much it was our second best meal in Disney World and we ate at a lot of places our first has got to be the lobster burger at the grand Floridian Café literally the best thing I’ve ever eaten in my life and yet you guys never cover it! Oh and at BR Guest they have the specialty drink for kids my kids had to have it because it was in a light up cup and it was pomegranate lemonade it was so disgusting we poured it out and just took the cups with us how disappointing not even the drinks were good!!!

Love these Restaurant Battles and Food Throwdowns. Molly can you PLEASE do a pretzel throwdown? 🥨 don't forget the cheese 🧀
👀

you guys should do videos about the Disney cruise and molly should go on one.
An all out all ears cruise with the cast
I would love to see an all cabin type showdown on a Disney cruise with the whole cast! They could draw straws to see which cabin type they get. It would be an expensive video but could be stretched out as a series to cover other things in the cruise.
Maybe they will when vaccinations aren’t required
I am continually perplexed about Quincy’s expressions in the thumbnails 🤣
Next up for the food fight series: battle of the seafood restaurants! Boathouse vs. Coral Reef! 🐠
Please 🙏
We did both the first week of March and had to say that Be Our Guest was far better!
Having eaten at both in March 2021, Guest had better food, the West Wing has a great vibe, and the Beast was cool to see. But Royal table has that very iconic location.
I have been waiting for this review. So I can decide which restaurant to make the reservation for summer. Thank you ❤️
Quincy looks lovely in this video 😊 love her energy

Really enjoy the throwdowns, would it be possible for Molly or the team to do a street corn 🌽 throwdown?
Quincy, not animated, but definitely a princess!
After dinner your server invites you to walk all the castle rooms. Nice for pictures.
I am very sad that they stopped serving breakfast. It was a great way to get into the castle without the big price tag.
Quincy, you look beautiful. Your hair cut is very flattering.

The should have an adults only brunch in the castle

Someone needs to send Quincy to CRT! We’re about to go for our third time because my teenage daughter doesn’t remember going.
I understand that Cinderella' s Castle is iconic, but if I'm spending over $200 for a family meal then the food needs to also be good as well as the experience. Be Our Guest sounds like a better choice of the 2 for food and experience.

Which one would you say catered to your dietary needs better? As far as selection/variety of what you could eat?

What's the grey stuff?????
Cookies and cream panna cotta.
Sounds delicious
I feel like whichever you get an ADR for is the best.
