Just keep doing what you're doing. You have receivers even I can afford, and you keep it simple. I like that you have a couple MLA30's and a long wire, which is the same as me. I just don't have the SDR on a laptop yet.@@SWLSignals23-hp6vp
I like to keep it simple because it works for me. I don't need all the added fluff. I think the frequencies I hear do enough to be interesting on their own.
Good choice of timing. I think the big solar storms are past us for the week. I haven't seen any predictions for any more coming, so it's a good time for this range of frequencies.
I wonder about the fast fading on WWV... would the AGC on the SDR cope with that better than the Tecsun? Just wondering. Right now I am only using the SDR, but thinking about picking up a Tecsun 880 or 990 for more portable use.
According to me, you have the best shortwave channel going right now on UA-cam. Keep it up!
Wow, thank you. That means a lot! Any ideas on what you would like to hear?

Yep, those solar storms can cause all sorts of issues on the HF bands.
HF frequency for lower part of spectrum is 4724khz USB for EAM's. I have the Tecsun PL330 with the updated software.
Thank you, I just could not remember it when I made the video. Thanks again!

The AGC may help with the fading, it would be a good experiment. I have never used an 880, but from what I read and hear, it is a fine radio.
