Never had a type one but I have a type to the only thing I dislike about it which would probably be the same with the top one is that the battery doesn’t really have anything to truly secure it in place when you’re mounting it onto your slide You either have to hurry up and set it in place or install it with everything upside down so the battery won’t fall out other than that I like it a lot

Everything has ups and downs but it is still a great little red dot even with its flaws
A long time ago companies offer the anti flicker plate and solve everything
