Isn't one this expansion so far, and 10.0.5 looks to fix the minor issues and add more silly sidecontent designed around, not powergains, but cool cosmetics and collectibles. Hell, even store mounts accessible via the Trading Post. The fact they are on there, even if it means a long delay from store to Post, means a metric fuckton of people will not buy them from store directly or indirectly via WoW tokens, but instead just wait. That is a MASSIVE short term (and longterm to a lesser extent) monetary loss in trade for rebuilding player goodwill by increasing the percieved value of the subcost. Microsoft procedure with the Games Pass.
Shadowlands was fun for a month, so this is definitely a thing. I agree that the game is going in a better direction, but I think we can pump the breaks on the "WoW is saved" narrative and see if the team can build on the success from the launch design.
Accolonn should look in to getting a rechargeable power supply, then while his electricity is on, it’s charging his power supply, then when his power turns off he can switch to the power supply and run off what it has charged for the day.

This year, Warner Bros. got a new CEO who's been gutting Warner Bros. properties left and right, DC and their comics are being especially affected. Initially, Henry did come out and say that he's going to go back as Superman; I guess he was also in Black Adam as a cameo, but I didn't see the movie myself, so I can't confirm that. The SIKE came from James Gunn I believe, who is now in charge of the DCU, and it seems he's choosing to completely scrap the Snyderverse with the exception of a few actors. That means no more Henry as Superman, no more Gal Gadot as Wonderwoman, or anyone else. Everyone is getting recast. I guess all of this plus the Warhammer thing is just a happy coincidence. Oh, and there are rumors that the people on the Witcher writing team actively hate the books and the games. Henry was supposedly the main reason it resembled the original as much as it did, which is saying little. The showrunner is currently running damage control over it because fans aren't interested in her fanfiction-esc prequeal series.
I feel like Ruri's outlook on spec viability works for classes with a tank and/or healer spec. But for triple dps spec classes, they often play very differently, and playing the other specs feels terrible. For example, I enjoy demo lock, but I hate dot specs (affliction) in any game, and destro just feels like a scuffed mage. Fir rogue, I enjoy sub, but I really don't like outlaw at all. Sin is whatever, I'd play it if I had to I guess, but I wouldn't be as invested. Mage, I only really enjoy arcage, and really dislike fire. So long story short, if the spec I like in a pure dps class is bad, I just don't play it. I'd rather play a different class than aspect I don't like on the same character. But if the class can flex into a tank or healer, it stays more viable to me because at least I'm gearing up another role, even if the spec I'm currently playing isn't great.

Examples: Wrathion/Sabellian rep, which you get about 8400 (1 rep level) per week with one of your choice for turning in the first key aswell as 3-4 sidequests in the area, OR (if you value total time in days required to unlock it compared to in-game time spent grinding) you can just find a group and AoE grind some mobs with abilities you need to dodge for about 12h total, turn in more Keys for 250 rep per + 50 Valdrakken rep, kill the rares that spawn anytime 20 total Keys has been turned in to either dude by everyone on your shard for another 250 rep, ontop of shittons of gold and reptokens from the turn-in quests for the Keys. The game gives you a clearly superior option of getting 1 rep level per week if you got limited playtime, but doesn't STOP YOU from degen-ing if you want to. And what is the reward? Some cool cosmetics, Black Scales for your drakes, a pretty meh cloak, a pet, some profession stuff, a a title depending on who you hit "exalted" with. And if you're madlad enough to max out both of them, a lava mammoth mount, aswell as both titles. You can also do the same thing for factions such as Dragonscale Expedition. Oh you ran out of quests/WQ's/exploration flags(think GW2's vistas but all require some real finaggling to dragonland on cuz standable ground around them is TINY)? Here, you can buy a shovel and swoop around digging up dirt piles for a couple of rep tokens, some decent value vendorgreys, and some Dragon Isles Resources used to buy more shovels or cosmetics/recipes/gear from any of the other factions renowns. The game doesn't force you to do anything which means you feel the freedom to relax and go down into the sidecontent rabbitholes, where you can degen as much as you want but with 0 external pressure to do so.
Ret is solid dps for Mythic. Mid pack if anything. And Holy has a raid spot. And prot paladin will probably get better. Not sure what spec your playing. Pvp might be trash?

Another time, I was collecting the quest loot after killing mobs for some quest, got ganked by multiple players, same faction as mine, Horde and they tried to death loop me.
Ruri, I disagree with your take on dps specs. Playing as an Arcane Mage to keep up when I want to play as a Fire Mage is just like you having to play paladin instead of warrior. Or a Gunlance main needing to use slap lance cause shelling damage scaling sucks.
Never cared about loremaster. but I'm pretty sure I was the first on my server to beat the divine beasts in pet battles in MOP. Pet battles were the only thing that kept me playing as long as I did. If they had kept adding bigger and better pet battle challenges, I would have probably kept playing.
Being able to get store mounts free is mostly positive. But it does further remove the negative stigma from even owning a store mount. Since people won't know if you got it by being a whale or not. Granted tokens already did that to a degree. Sonit was probably already a lost cause.
The way Ruri feels about Toddy is the same way I feel about every quest NPC that says "for the Alliance" when I'm trying to play a draenai or a dwarf to change things up.
With me coming from FFXI and FFXIV, WoW factions originally (1.0) seem to be split between human-like and beastman races. Think about it. In FFXI, we had Orcs, Trolls, Goblins and such being classified as Beastmen yet they were not playable of course.
The game has been ok so far for me. I was having a blast the first few days flying around on the dragon and doing races. But now that I'm in the loop of gearing and leveling alts, my experience has been mostly mid. It's not bad, but unless my friends are on and we're doing keys, I'm finding myself more interested in other games or other activities. That said, I don't think this is entirely a bad thing. I haven't felt seriously punished yet for not hitting weekly quotas, and so far I feel like I've been fine just playing for a few hours here and there. We'll see how things feel in a month or so. This was definitely a step in the right direction away from the Legion-SL design, and hopefully they can find ways to keep things interesting without having to trap players.
