Wow! I’ve always wanted to see how you guys do that. I have so much more respect for the art of pottery. And now I’m tempted to buy a mug and every single glaze lol.
Loved watching your process. If you are up to showing how you throw your mugs and attach handles I’d love to see! I love so many of the PHS glazes! It’s so expensive to ship them down to Maryland. I only have Purple Haze and Red onion. There’s so many options now it’s overwhelming! 😂
How did you get your Pike’s Purple so glossy? Mine is quite matte. As a former teacher it was nice to see “all right” spelled correctly. It was fun to see how you glaze everything. This was a great video!
My gosh I can’t believe how efficient your flow is. I haven’t used dip and pour glazes yet since I’m almost completely self taught and that’s just one thing I haven’t tried yet but you make it look sooo easy!! I’d love to know how you have your studio set up. I feel like you have everything fine tuned and organized! I’d love to see a tour. Thanks so much. You wouldn’t believe how many screen shots I took during this video!!! Lol The cheetah print mug is absolutely amaaazing!! I can’t believe how incredible it looks. What a fun mug!!
Thank you! Yes I will have to do a tour! I’m pretty much self taught as well! I did take one session of classes but I mixed up my own glazes and brought them with me on glaze day 😂
Thanks for the great video. I love the wheel the most too and the glazing is my least favorite mostly because it's so time consuming and the hardest to get consistent results at.
So true, glazing can be such a disappointment, especially when you have in your mind how it will turn out and it doesn’t at all look the way you thought it would!
Do you think the cone 6 firing was too hot for the Northern Lights glazes?? You said the bowl had little blisters. I get that sometimes too. Thanks for sharing your beautiful pots.
Thanks for sharing your techniques for glazing. As an aspiring potter I really learned a lot. Your work is beautiful.
You are so welcome and thank you 😊
You work very efficiently. It was a great touch to include glaze results right after finishing each combo. Thank you!❤😊❤
Awe thank you for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you for the great video! The “day in the life of a potter “ is very busy! You definitely have a gift with glazes! 😊
Thank you 😊

Yes I will have to do a video on that soon! I just have one PHS Red Wine, I believe it’s called!
What a great video, thank you for taking the time to show each step and results!
Glad it was helpful!
I love the mug you called a fail!
Thank you! It just wasn’t what I had pictured in my mind!
Thank you so much for sharing ❤ I love spending time with you in the studio. Diane of Arizona

Thank you! The piles purple had one coat of light flux over it!

Cool video!
Thank you 😊
How did you prep the bowl that you added glaze and refried?? I’ve tried hairspray, but I seem to get patchy adhesion of the glaze
I don’t do anything, if it’s a bottle glaze, I paint one layer and let it dry, then the next layers just stick to that!
Great video, thank you! And for the good news ancient copper is back 🎉🎉
@@undsethpottery thank you

Maybe, I usually put the northern light pieces on the bottom, it doesn’t get quite as hot!
