So, last year I broke my leg the day after I laid out the pool, and it took me forever to get someone to help me understand the directions (grrrr) and get it filled. I went in once. I never knew how to do chemicals, and wasn't sure about safety of the water, so it sat, and I NEVER got to use it !??
That was last year.
It's now April, and already getting hot, AND I can finally walk, so I'm getting a jump on this NOW!!

Lauren Hetherington chlorine, PH-, test kit about $8.00, , some kind of vacuum ...a water hose vacuum comes with net and poles for about $14.99. To avoid vacuuming , have your kids do a whirl pool, then get out...when water stops moving all dirt will gather to the center...net it out...:-)

I've been torn about getting this pool, mixed reviews at best, but really, most of what you're showing is the pool simply needs to be installed correctly. Does make me feel better that you've gotten 2 years out of this so far with obviously good care.
thanks i will be getting another year out of this pool for sure/ this pool isnt a lot of upkeep just take care when setting it up making sure there isnt inthing on the ground to puncture the pool bottom . and taking it down is the hardest ting as iy takes hours to drain it once drained wipe it dry and fold it up put it in a container with all the parts and your good to go till next year.
thanks for the video. I found exactly what I needed. I didn't know which hose should be connected to which part (the hook part or the half-dome part) on the pool. I wanted to make sure to get the correct end part on the correct hose. Thanks for clear instructions!

Excellent set up video. The company should pay you. I am a 54 Year old female and set up alone ,with your instructions .. The instructions provided were worthless. The toll free number just rang busy. Did you say you use 3 one inch chlorine tabs in your pool? Thank you for a great tutorial! Sheri
yes i used the little floater that uses 3" chlorine tabs i put in 2 and works fine .
Do you use any of the pool kit stuff Like I’ve saw some stuff that says shock and the algae eater and all that other stuff. Do you need it for this pool? Or just the tablets and floater.
Does the filter knob always have to be shut when it's running or u have to release it
These pools need to be perfectly leveled or they will not rise up correctly.
Found that out the hard way today
I learned that the hard way I had to dump all the water out(it was filled to the top) and start over

Next time, try attaching your hose to a ladder next to the pool...when your ready to fill your pool with water.

I have this pool, well the Intex one which the exact same thing. How many of the 3 inch tablets do you usually like to keep in it? Right now I have the Game Duck one and I have 2 of the one inch tablets in it, It's only been up for four days. I haven't check the water yet, but so far it's been nice and clear but again it's just at the beginning. Thanks

Hello RonThe chlorine float i used there is made by a company called ( game )i bought it at academy sports and outdoors i used 3" chlorine tablets in ityou can buy them at lots of places walmart,academy,ebay,amazon etc .just search for 3" floating pool chlorinator

no the water as it fills up, makes the bottom rise. only the top ring has air.
I have the same pool and mine takes forever to fill and the around bit the panel is flat to the ground any tips for me

Dude that is so much easier if u blow that ring up first lol it basically stretches the bottom out right where it needs to be then as the water rises so will the ring

It drained overnight I don't know how or why? Woke up this morning and it was on the ground. I seen to small areas or water where the pump is connected and also the pump was leaking water even when it was off.

We filled ours today for the first time. New out of box. It doesn't seem to be 3 ft. Do we get inside and push out the sides to get it to spread to fill up more?

Hi, how often do you put the floater in with clorine tablet? Also, does the pump need to be on while you're in the pool or how often do you have to turn it on?! Thanks
Hello DinoraThe floater stays in the pool all the time with the chlorine tabs in it.As to the pump it needs to be run about 3 hours a day minimum the manufacturer says to turn it off while in the pool.

What if I don’t have a leveled surface to put it on?
I just set mind up today but noticed that the pump was overflowing with water..did I do something wrong ? is the inlet side supposed to be plugged up?
Sounds like the top of the pump is loose make sure its sealed tight and the hoses are seated correctly .
I sealed it tightly afterwards but still noticed some leaking so I plugged up both sides from inside the pool. I'm only supposed to have them open when I'm running the pump correct? Thank you for replying btw I appreciate your help!

Its easy just get a water test kit those work great and its easy to use them with just a a little research .
My pool did not rise. Lol it looks oval. I was filling with water for 2 1/2 hours. Epic fail for me

@@jakobcook7311 after about 2 inches of water you need to flatten the bottom out and get rid of any wrinkles. Make sure its leveled.
I think I have my hoses wrong can u help me ? I have the one with A spout by the lettering which would be my right side and the one with the holes by the side with the picture with the phone number ? Does it matter which side those are on
The pool i have uses two hoses which are identicle and attach to either side watch the video and see if your hoses match mine and hopefully this will help you .
not sure what you have but try looking up pump and then adding your pool and model #

U can use a manual pump like those for balloons that's what I used
Dont expect an air pump to fit on the valve LIKE IT SHOUUUULD, grrrrrr!!! It will take awhile too.
@@PHanomaly mine was a normal 1£ plastic Ballon pump. It fit perfectly and only took me 5 mins or less

@@PHanomaly what chemicals ??? The clear plastic tube around the pool is supposed to be filled with air like a balloon. U just need a pump to pump Air in. Nothing else is needed. And to fill in the pool itself with water I just used my garden host to fill it up with water. It also comes with a filter. And to clean the water u can use a pool chlorine but that's optional

I am currently setting up the same pool. but my pool filter is leaking water. The hoses are filling with water and just leaking through the filter canister. anyone have an idea of why this might be happening?
Make suse the big white screw on top is tightened after letting the air out of the top of the pump. Also make sure the lid is securely seated against the tabs on the top.

Whenever mine leaks, I put a good amount of petroleum jelly around the black rubber ring on the lid.

there are many pumps that you can use if i had to i would get a good sand filtering pump .

No, he said he used an air compressor, it doesn't come with an air pump to blow up the ring part. The pump for the pool (to filter the water) comes with it.
