The fight between Sunning vs G2 when Sunning managed to hold G2 with Baron + Elder It was only made possible due to the Ocean soul, giving the much needed sustain to avoid reaching the execution % of elder drake
NA should only have 2 seeds next year if no one makes it out of groups. First seed would be the one that wins Summer finals, the 2nd seed would be decided if the other summer finalist and the Spring finals champion face in a Bo5 series. I'm from NA and it doesn't feel like we even deserved to have an automatic seeding during worlds. It feels like our teams has to be in playins and give the spots to the other rising region like the PCS. This is just sad.
No reason for 3 teams from NA. It is only cloud 9 who has ever advanced through groups. NA teams has been terrible at world's for 5 years. Give the spot to some decent teams

As an NA fan, this is frustrating to watch. Liquid and Tsm are showing zero proactivity. They are just letting the other teams slowly crush them. Even when they are ahead, they seem so scared to even try anything. Fly quest did get stomped yesterday, but at least they were trying things, going all in and trying to push advantages. TES was just too good, but at least they were trying to get ahead. TSM and TL seem to just be letting other do whatever the hell they want. This is why I think C9 was a better team for worlds, they are always proactive and aggressive.
They got used to LCS toxic late game meta, they keep drafting and playing to scale and getting crushed early. NA teams will never grow if the LCS has only 1 or 2 competitive teams trying to match 8 trash ass teams playstile, its aleays the same, teams dont look at the bigger picture and just play for LCS chips just to get clapped in worlds when the enemy is on a different page
Augusto Gambarte i mean at 2018 worlds, C9 were very competitive, making out of the group of death and to the semis. That year Korea was caught slacking in a scaling meta, it seems this year, NA is combining bad play style with lacklustre mechanics.

There is definetly a problem with the NA scene, teams cant match other regions if they compete against shitty teams on her own and the same goes for players and their own skill, there is probably lots of talent in NA its just theres no room for improvement unless something changes, but I dont know what could be the change to make it happen honestly
There are many problems with NA. It's a bigger country but less servers. They will never get a bigger player base when 70% of players have to play on 70-80 ping. Then instead of trying to find local skill, just bringing imports is hurting NA as a whole. That with the fact that 90% of players have been in the scene for 5+ years. There's no new talent, or ideas of how to play the game. All of this combined with only playing BO1 (they play only like 100 games ALL year including scrims), makes NA a region with little practice and little talent so they will always be behind

TSM is banking on late game scaling, which in worlds will never happen, when you have the highest tempo games happening. No one will sit there and wait till you get your 6 item builds.
