There is something incredibly soul satisfying about watching A Poll ski. His obvious stoke is on full display in his skiing and he makes it look so effortless and fun.
Bro. Thank you so much for these videos. I’ve never been able to ski with high level skiers before and this makes it seem like you are with them. I’ve been watching them for a couple months in between trips and I gotta say.. I skied probably 3x better today than I ever have. Your videos really helped me step my game up and feel more confident to charge that tougher terrain.
Great skiing guys! Very fun to watch. I worked for Snowbird for two years from 13-15. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about the great Wasatch mountains. Rip one for me!
This video was awesome. I grew up skiing snowbird and still go there on a weekly basis. I’ve done many lines near or on places from this video. You guys make it look so so easy! Truly I was in aww watching. That cliff a little down from the get serious chutes was nuts. I would hike out before going off that.
Such strong skiers, great vid! Watching this, especially skiing the cat tracks and crossovers, reminds me of a day when I skied with a guy I met on the chair. After the 2nd run I mentioned “man you’re a pretty good skier” and he told me he raced on the world cup circuit for a while. Im a good skier, have skied my whole life and work in the industry, but keeping up with that guy took work These guys are a notch above that Impressive. Love it!
@@sagePerspective I would, but I’m in the Midwest where there’s not super hard runs (or good snow). I got out to Copper Mountain recently and could do almost all the runs, but confidence was another thing. It’s just so much more expensive to go places like that when you don’t live near real mountains
I felt that hesitation at 5:45, even though I knew you had it. Man, I love these videos. I was just out there, damn shame I couldn't have bought you a beer.
I lived in Utah 1991-92, at that time the powder would last a lot longer due to far less skiers (basically nobody local was skiing). Late spring I managed 11 consecutive trips up with the same gondola, skiing the moguls straight down to take the same gondola up again, obviously without any lift lines whatsoever!
I was like who is this dude chasing this other dude around Snowbird, not sure I heard of AP but he sure can ski. But I was more impressed with the photographer! Not just keeping up but completely crushing the same lines (the better of the two 😛?).... then I noticed the "photographer" was Sage & it all made sense. I just love it when the world is skewered sideways on it's axis until you see one detail and then it all makes sense.
Good call! This vid was shot with a Gopro11 in wide angle setting, as well as DJI osmo Action3 in Rocksteady mode which is its wide angle and stabilized mode.
That would be all time!...we are friends, but haven't seen each other in a while, I'm hoping this series starts to re- ignite some of those connections!

On point!! I agree.
This is one of the most immersive ski videos I have seen in a long time . GJ! ;-)
Thanks so much, new episodes every week during the winter! cheers
When you're launching 360s off the cat road into the crud and making it look easy, you know you've arrived.
bingo! haha
the way they just seeeeeend down a whole field of moguls is amazing. I don't understand how to emulate it.

Sweet vid.
Good luck! think its snowed in!!
I love that place. Awesome skiing. Subbed.

Amazing skiing. Most try to survive and scratch down. He's jibbing all over it and with ease and style. What a skier
Yeah jibbing off mougles like its a butter box.
Off the hook! Hell yeah!

Holy crap that was fun to watch. As a second year skier this is inspiring to watch. Your guys' control and strength is exceptional.
Thanks Josh, you'll be there in no time!
@@sagePerspective 20th year skier...and still nowhere near that level 🤣
@@KP-dd2ci lol
You guys have the comfort in expert terrain I am striving for
Keep getting your self in the steep and tech, and over time it will be more and more comfortable!

Right on Sage and Andrew. So fun to watch you guys flowing down the mountain. 👊🏼
Thanks so much!
Insannnnneeeee!!
Andrew is such a cool skier
for real!
This vid really shows how much better than the average Joe elite level pros are. Thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Couple smooth operators! Love the follow cam footy
Thanks Will!
Playful and scary :) I like Andrew's style, he is one of favourite skiers on FWT!
haha yep that what it feel like chasing Andrew around!
Love this series! A-Poll with the steez!
thanks!!
Its crazy but you can actually feel how the snow feels by the sound of the video and how the snow reacts to everything.
nice!

The Glory days!
Nice turns XD
thanks!
The Peter Pan squad. No pixie dust, just pristine powder required.
hahaha for sure!
you hit that FAT shifty at the end of the vid, that was sick
Shifty is my fav trick for sure!! haha thanks
1:54 sweet gap.
Daumn!
Love the Bird,But Alta Rocks!

hahaha, Glad you liked the vid and thanks for the perspective! 👊
also how you liking the 110s. I got the 120s coming from 2010 sir francis bacons. Hopefully i can be good all mountain LOL
the 120 and the 110 bentchetler are great all mt skis for sure, 110 excelling in all and handling the firmer days a little better.
@@sagePerspective ya man. I’ve yet to take them out. We’ll see how they do!
watching this again not seeing Sage side sluffing always tacking turns like a boss
👊👊
So is Andrew Pollard going to be in tgr next year or what.
HIs winter is pretty much full on FWT but would be a good addition in the future!!
After he leaves FWT I wouldn't be surprised to see him in a film part
@@yetigonecrazy IT would be a good transition!
I’m looking into getting new skis. I want to get a freeride ski, what would you recommend? ( I’m 5 ft 5” and 115 lbs if that matters at all)
the Bentchetler 110 from atomic is amazing all round ski. it comes in three sizes so there is a good fit for your size for sure!
Sage, why your two bent 110 skis has the same top sheet? :)
Good question! Secret skis from the future with Bentchetler 110 Graphics!
doooope
Can you include your camera setup in the description of these videos? I assume gopro, do you use the widest angle setting?
Good call! This vid was shot with a Gopro11 in wide angle setting, as well as DJI osmo Action3 in Rocksteady mode which is its wide angle and stabilized mode.
You know, crack kills!
lol
Did you get Ruslter rooms comped?
Atomic covered it for the trip I just took, I paid for the trip last Feb
Are those bent 90s?
Nope bent 110 graphics on some protos of the new maverick 115
Is that at regular speed?
Late to see this, but yes its at normal, but I shoot at 24fps which can create a little motion blur in the foreground leading to the feeling of speed!
bro dropped a sick 3 off the cat track
a true cat!
@@sagePerspective that cat can pounce!
Suppppeeerrrr
Hellooo, where is this ?
Snowbird, Utah. It's in the title.
Looks like Schweitzer, ID I would guess.

hahaha good betta!
What is wrong with you guys man this is so sick :)
hahaha we crazy
...I guess Adrew is a local at Snowbird. He knows every little corner, drop and bumps! Sage totally different skier but he can handle it, off course!
Following along like a little puppy 😊
