Really appreciate you taking the time to look out for other hunters' safety! Thanks for all the tips.
Thank you
Thanks for the reminder. I received an email, but hadn’t checked mine until this morning. I have one that has been recalled.
They will send you a new one.
Big thanks for this. Just checked mine (which I have because of your wonderful lineman rope recommendation - best thing I ever did to help improve ease of treestand use), and looks like I got it the year before that batch. Love how your video warned us of the recall... wonder how many owners wouldn't hear of it otherwise? Keep up the great stuff. Cheers from Nova Scotia.
Glad yours are all good and that your loving the ropeman too. This year is 25 years since I started using a ropeman 1. Trued everything else and nothing beats it.
@@tradbowpodcast was recently in New Brunswick bear hunting and the guide instantly recognized it... he's been using one for years too.
Thank you. I have 4 but got lucky none are the recall serial numbers. I don’t usually pay attention to recalls but this type oh ya I pay attention. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing, I'm gonna check mine
I checked my two. (04A .....). Guess I'm good. Thanks for looking out for our safety.
Glad you are all good.
Thank You Jason for the big heads up mine are all good but if it wasn’t for your video I would’ve never known or checked thanks again
Thanks so much, I will check mine tonight!
Thanks Jason, mine is older and actually starts 03....lol. Appreciate the update!
I have a fee that are 5 or 6 years old and was hoping they would of been part of the recall so I could get new ones😂😂
Thanks for update I have a bad one to send I
They will send you back a brand new one.
Mine is 822, so close 😆
I got notification of this last week through Amazon...Thanks for putting this out
Thays how I got the recall info as well. From Amazon. Then some other viewers started sending me notices too. Took a couple days for me to get home and check all mine before I could make the video. Was hoping one of my 6 was a recall one so I could show it in the video and show the difference. But mine were all good
@tradbowpodcast just checked mine it's good 👍 Your video made my life so much easier to hang my treestand keep up the good work my friend
@@Tradman47 thank you. Glad you are enjoying them
Would you ever use a ropeman 1 instead of a prusik on a saddle tether? I’m trying a rock climbing harness out of a hang on stand this year to be able to shoot the backside of the tree and have heard mixed reviews on the safety of a ropeman 1 on the tether. I want the fast one handed operation during the rut when deer are running by. Curious to know your thoughts since you have lots of climbing experience with the ropeman on your lineman’s belt.
In a saddle that has the tether never slack a rope man is great. In a lineman belt that will use your body to soften the blow on a slip it's great. On a tether in a stand that could have a foot or 2 of loose slack in a fall with that hard of a shock load I'd rather not trust any ascender. People do it. But thts my honest opinion
How about if you bought it from trophy line
Will still have the same serial number I think
@@tradbowpodcast okay
another reason a tendered prusik is my choice over hardware.
Not mine. You could not pry my rope man 1 away from me. Best lineman belt tool ever made.
Where are Wild Country products made?
Most of Wild Country’s kit is made in China apart from a few smaller runs.
Says it all
Seem using them for 26 years. Always been flawless
