The rest MUN'S and experience you gain will help you win
@@directionerforlife6368 The 3day MUN was awesome. I enrolled in the DISEC committee. The 1st day was just a day for observation alone. I didn't speak much on the agenda. I represented Poland on the topic Bioterrorism. GSL, Moderated caucuses, Unmoderated caucuses, Voting... All the procedures were really awesome to experience. Other delegates were really humble enough to help me there. As Poland, the Russian & USA block tried hard to lobby for Poland's support in the Ukrainian war. But i sided with Russia & supported for Peaceful use of Bioweapons to serve the humanity & also use it as a deterrent instead of siding with USA who wanted complete ban on Development of Bioweapons. A lot more happened there... Made many friends I also participated in my 2nd MUN- AIPPM(All india political party meet) committee & it was really different from the DISEC. I noticed that I had more courage to speak in the debate. MUN is awesome

I have my first conference after 4days and I will have the conference for 3 days straight so im super nervous...I still dont know how the conference goes on and I only researched for like half an hour. my english is not fluent at all and I dont think I can use the formal appropriate language...what is lobbying, what is resolution paper..ahhhhhhhhhhhhh😭😭
@AlsaGulrukh It went fine! I weren't able to use appropriate language so I got embarrassed, and I was so lost for the first few hours, but people around me knew that it was my first experience in MUN, so they were very nice to me, and helped me with many things.

Tbh research is not that imoortant especially if your country is neutral ( do learn about points your country can get bashed on and be ready to defend it ) Bash others and do have dirt on your enemy countries Raise your placard each and every fucking time Participate alot in unmod (very important as 60% points are given to u based on ur unmodding ) Try to make your own bloc, manipulate people to join it and be dominant while being diplomatic Last and a lil important in my opinion is that be friendly with your chairs as they are the one who are gonna give an award , im not saying that they will do favouritism but its human psychology that you will make impact on their brain ) Lastly, share your frameworks and next ideas with dias all the time and ask for their critiques, dias will take that in mind that you were actually participating Hope this helps and yes thi is extremely informative ❤.

The online IMUN is a simulation under the model united nations, where students from all over the world come together as delegates of the country’s they were assigned to and discuss about the underlying issues proposed under their committee. It can be UNDP, WHO, UNESCO etc. The main goal of MUN is to improve the diplomacy skills of students, problem solving skills, public speaking skills etc. IMUN has so many opportunities because you get to meet a lot of foreigners, get the opportunity to travel outside your country, add the IMUN certificate to your cv/resume, boost your opportunities when applying for universities or jobs etc. I have a word document that thoroughly explains about it. This is just in summary. I really loved the conference. It was a new and unique experience for me. If you want to join the conference that will be lovely! You should join!!
