If this was an AC/DC Song it would in my top ten favorites. I will never forget being with my best friend in the car listening to this song for the first time on the radio. We both thought it was a Bon Scott AC/DC Song just like so many people who commented on this post thought. We made an effort to see Krokus at My Father's Place on Roslyn Heights, NY. They were awesome. I'm shocked that Krokus wasn't much bigger than they were.
I'm sorry they didn't quite make it as big as they deserved. Krokus were my second group I ever saw live in the summer of '83. With Blackfoot opening up. Great times! Damn I miss the 80s!
Marc was asked to audition for AC/DC...evidently he blew them off. AC/DC had Krokus excluded from some huge European concert that featured a lot of different bands.
krokus is awesome in concert. i miss the 80's. saw them the first time with helix and wasp opening up for krokus. bad ass concert....WE ALL KNOW ABOUT 69
I think folks kind of blew them off because they had a very AC/DC-like sound with this song, right from the beginning. But Krokus actually had some solid Bangers! Saw them in '84-85ish.
The reason why they (Angus) chose Axl Rose is because Malcolm was out of the picture. Malcolm would have never let that happen. AC/DC was more than just the music they wrote, AC/DC represented something - a raw, blue collar, honesty. Something that Axl Rose does not portray. Angus just wants to keep AC/DC going and keep playing. Malcolm cast the vision and the culture of the band from the beginning. Angus should hire a singer who represents the culture of AC/DC. Yes, Marc Storace. Or even a singer from an AC/DC tribute band would be a great choice. A hungry, hard working, gutsy gravel throat NOBODY would be far better than Axl Rose. Axl Rose singing for AC/DC is like Barry Manilow singing for the Rolling Stones. It just doesn't fit.
Iv’e seen later versions without von Arb and he obviously brings something to this band. I just wonder what rail pickup he has in the bridge of his Strat. It sounds great.
Esas son las cosas horribles que uno debe ver....gente que se pone delante de todos pero que no salta ni grita. Esa gente no sabe cómo se disfruta un recital. Vean los videos de recitales en Argentina
Great band, I love Krokus! It's my wish to see them one more time before I die! Was the crowd sleeping in Montreux that night? Qu'est qui se passe Montreux, vous dormez ou quoi? Merci pour cette superbe video!
Marc Storace should have replaced Bon Scott in AC/DC in 1980. Taking nothing away from Brian Johnson but Marc Storace with AC/DC would be a perfect match.
Definitely influenced by AC/DC. You just have to listen to the intro. But a real good rock and roll band out of the swiss alps : ) who managed to create there own sound. Wich was not easy during the 80s. GREAT!
How might things have been different if Marc Storace had joined AC/DC in 1980 instead of Brian Johnson. Not one thing against Brian Johnson. BUT this guy IS Bon Scott. I wonder if he can still bring it after all these years. TIme will tell. But those AC/DC oldies? It would be as if Scott never died.
He declined the job in 1980 yes I know, but then we would not have had Hells Bells, For Those About To Rock, Back in Black... and many other great songs. And Angus asks only once...
E il mio gruppo di punta, da 40 anni, Cmq sono un maestro edile, E la mente è l'attrezzo principale Impara a scrivere e mettere gli accenti 😁 Si scherza un po' 😇
how dare anybody say hed be better than brian for acdc ?????????back n black for those flick of the switch shoot to thril brian is a fuckn ledgend shame on you people
Angus has a big ego. Because Marc declined in 1980 when Angus asked him after Bon passed away he dont want Marc to be in AC/DC till today. Say no to Angus once....
This is real Rock & Roll, And the shame is that these guys are from Germany and blow our music today away... Don't you see that we are soft and shit on our people with suddo retro bullshit.. Get back to the music....

another great under rated group....................
I totally agree
One of the better opening acts I caught in the 80s. Great set beginning to end.
I love how the drummer isn’t a flailing maniac like a lot of rock drummers!! Just laid back and cool but still kicking butt and driving the band!! 🤟
I'm sorry they didn't quite make it as big as they deserved. Krokus were my second group I ever saw live in the summer of '83. With Blackfoot opening up. Great times! Damn I miss the 80s!
I saw them at the Hollywood Palladium and Blackfoot opened for them also
i have seen them as opening act in early 80´s in Germany for Deep Purple, was great ;)
Waouh du bon rock ! Eh quel voix hum du Bon Scott, trop génial ❤
Look at Mark... Great Voice ever... Great Musicians.. And the crowd... Just looking.. 🤨WHAT???
sounds a lot like ac/dc, the reason I bought this lp in the 70's. Ac/Dc needs this Bon Scott sounding singer instead of Ax; Rose
Marc was asked to audition for AC/DC...evidently he blew them off. AC/DC had Krokus excluded from some huge European concert that featured a lot of different bands.
Best Ac Dc song that’s not Ac Dc
Dieses Stück hat absolute AC/DC - Qualität! Swiss🇨🇭quality !
Von Arb One Of Best Guitarists Ever !!! Killer Tune Nice Upload Thx...
Tonight long love stick goes Boom !!!!

Mark S.sings so great live.Krokus rocks!!
Bon Scott rip off
Sounds like Bon Scott 🤟
@@timokelley4339 I would take that as a compliment cuz Bon was awesome. Mark sounds great no matter what haters say. He rocks everytime he sings!
Krokus Rocks baby 🤘🤘
Very first rock band I ever saw in concert, you never remember your first! They were awesome!!
I saw them back in about 82 they opened for Nugent, they rocked it! I was right up front 6th row center.
My very first concert June 30 1981 Ted Nugent and Krokus at the Ohio Center have the stub still today!! 8th grade graduation present
I saw them with uncle Ted on the same tour i think. Blackfoot was also on the bill.. My 1st concert ever...
HARD ROCK is back in our HEARTS ! . KROKUS - BOMBA . 👍👍👍👍👍🎸🥁 . BON SCOTT - LIVE .🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘♥️🍒🍓🌷🇺🇦 .
Thanks Ozzys Boneyard. First time I've heard this song.

Playing the Outlaw. another great Krokus song.

Awesome!
Classic Krokus!
I think folks kind of blew them off because they had a very AC/DC-like sound with this song, right from the beginning. But Krokus actually had some solid Bangers! Saw them in '84-85ish.
Love it. 🤟🎸👍🇨🇭

@Mike Mulcahy i agree
Still true... Axl was only business
I've been a fan since day 1 ,,, not when they got big with headhunter ,,, before that... this group could have ruled the world
You would think you were listening to Bon Scott and back in the day I thought I was.
J'adore
Aussi
He would've been a perfect AC/DC replacement for Bon Scott (not that anyone could REALLY replace Bon)
right? Bon rocks!!! i will always remember him.
Ive heard that he turned down AC/DC in '80. Who knows?
@@thunderdeed1 This is true. But then we wouldn't have such a great catalog of music from KROKUS.
🤘😆🤘awesome 👌
Im not shocked as to way they werent a bigger band ...just the way it goes with some bands
Check out the band 'Accept' They had that hit single 'Balls to the Wall' that's another singer who sounds like the late Bon Scott.
I saw them in 1985 with Rough Cutt and Accept at Hara Arena in Dayton, Ohio.
Me 2
Paul Shortino is a pretty nice dude. My cuzzo had dinner with him and their wives.
Love it!
He does sound like Bon Scott.
Saw them open for Sammy Hagar in Gainesville Florida in 1984 for the can't drive 55 tour
jamais vu ici encore!Faites une tournee Canadienne au plus vite!Vive la Suisse!
Iv’e seen later versions without von Arb and he obviously brings something to this band. I just wonder what rail pickup he has in the bridge of his Strat. It sounds great.
Yes So True
Bon Scott is still alive !!!
No. He died back around 79 or 80
Beautiful.🤘
They still sounded good
My favorite AC/DC song..😂😂
Very good!!
LOLOL@ the guy who announces them on stage.....WTF WAS THAT????!!!! HAAHAAHAAHAHAA
0:47
krokus Rocks!!!!
Krokus Rules
He sounds WAY more like Bon Scott than Brian Johnson. Just sayin'.
When did Brian ever try to sound like Bon? Brian sounds like Brian - Awesome.
100% agree. Way better than Axl too
Marc actually was offered the job after Bon Scott was gone,he said no.I would rather have this line-up anyway.
Wayne Kiladitis I think he sounds more like Brian Johnson than Bon Scott
Wayne Kiladitis yup... it’s really close to exactly the same
They open with one their biggest hit's, and the crowd just stands there! WTF...?
Right?...my thoughts exactly, too. Also..need to get rid of that pony tail...let the damn hair loose and thrash with wicked windmill head-banging 😎
Esas son las cosas horribles que uno debe ver....gente que se pone delante de todos pero que no salta ni grita.

Son of a bitch sounds just like Bon Scott.
When Bon died I thought for sure he would take his place. I'm sure they discussed it.
You're right @@harbingerofdoom9708

The last time i saw them was close to 30 years ago. W.A.S.P. was opening for them on their first major tour.
Long Live Krokus
Marc Storace should have replaced Bon Scott in AC/DC in 1980. Taking nothing away from Brian Johnson but Marc Storace with AC/DC would be a perfect match.
Thats right! Incredible Voice!
Everybody knows
Very close to Bon Scott.Damn!!
So right!
I believe that AC/DC considered Marc Storace for the band.
jaytube2112 - it would've been one of the few time a lead singer was brought on board tha almost sounded exactly the same
+jaytube2112 now that would have been very interesting...a continuity of Bon marc...
Wow, if I closed my eyes I would swear this was AC/DC
@Mark Engel oh no fucking way, Brian Johnson can fart better than this guy can sing. But this guy does sound like Bon, kinda.
Definitely influenced by AC/DC. You just have to listen to the intro. But a real good rock and roll band out of the swiss alps : ) who managed to create there own sound. Wich was not easy during the 80s. GREAT!
Daniel Keerer The intro? Dude that entire album was influenced by Bon Scott’s era of Ac/Dc.
Show!
Top
i saw them in moncton n.b
saw them live in their heyday, opening for Def Leopard.......blew def lep off the stage
JFK64 Kennedy ya they were the shit in there days

Fucking Rock Heroes these Guys ! they kick ass!
I know a guy in real life that sounds like a mix of this guy and Bon Scott but he looks like this guy
У нас в СССР Крокус асоциировался с АС DS 👍
How might things have been different if Marc Storace had joined AC/DC in 1980 instead of Brian Johnson. Not one thing against Brian Johnson. BUT this guy IS Bon Scott. out standing band from swiss
What the hell is wrong with the crowd??!!! Waiting for Justin Bieber?
I ask the same...
Yes, he would be great in AC/DC but this seems like a good gig also. I don’t think he’s driving a Civic.
Carl Brutananadilewski brought me here TONIGHT!
Krokus es una antagoniga a eso que se llama ac dc
💥 Fernando von Arb 💥😎
Europe, White Lion, Brain Police, Toki. Great Rock in Sweden....
Omg, he is the f***ing Bon Scott 😮
Love the song and the band is great. But what's wrong with the audience??? Looks like they are at the wrong show :))
***** well is supposed to be a Jazz festival...
Peter SM They're mad cause their long stick didn't go boom.
😂😂😂😂😂
Every time I see a video of krokus. the crowed is not into it, maybe Canadian bacon crowed is just stiff..
He sounds just like bon scott
haha, das schweizer Publikum. Kalt wie Fische und steifer als ne Playbig Figur. So eine geile Band.

Gli AC/DC dei poveri, ma comunque mi piacciono

Bon Pesci on vocals. Doesn't mean I don't love Krokus because I do. But c'mon...
With all due respect, NO ONE sounds like Bon Scott. Bon is motherfucking Bon!
