You mean only 39 some of us are improving in strongman well past that 😂
39 is not old for strength. 35-45 is prime strength years
I'm 39 and I've never been stronger. But my endurance isn't like what it was in my 20's sadly. Static strength though I smoke the 20 something me.
@@bdegrdsyeah, but usually your body can’t recover the same way as you age, so you get injured and see a lot of guys peak before 35. Genetics also play a big factor
I was really happy for Luke watching Britain's. I mean everyone knows the deal with Tom, 2x world's strongest man. But with Luke people, myself included always kinda think,....yeah he's done. Then finals at world's.....3rd at Britain's. Was like Jeeeezus when he got the 400. Humble pie.
This is a revival to Luke's career. After what happened at the Arnolds and Rogue last year, achieving the podium in a world-class show in 2024 is like cleaning the slate...

I'm not just kissing arse cos I'm on his channel, I'd say this anywhere; lads like Luke are absolutely critical to the success of this sport on a whole. The energy, chamaraderie, experience, passion, ability to communicate, effort with social media presence etc. Simply everything about the lad can do nothing but help this sport, it's athletes, organisers and - in turn - it's fanbase to grow. The footage of him having a laugh with the lads at the beginning is awesome. One of my favourite athletes and still has a LOT to achieve.
