Steve Grad on the best and worst autograph signers and a run-in with Secret Service

Beckett Principle Authenticator Steve Grad has seen more autographs than just about anyone. And he's also seen celebrities willing to sign autographs as well as those who want no part of it.
Grad spoke with cllct's Darren Rovell about the best and worst signers in the hobby, as well as his own experiences graphing, which may have gotten him in trouble with the U.S. government.

To me Shohei Ohtani had the best & worst auto, back in 2018 when he arrived in MLB his auto was beautiful than a few years later he changed it writing his initials only ☹ Topps & other companies are forcing their athletes to sign so much now of these days, athletes from all sports are now just scribbling their name. 👎
