I think you have these installed incorrectly. Looking at SW’s instructions, you don’t use the rounded bar end weights. This moves the backbones and internal mounting point inwards, allowing more room for the master cylinder (which I can’t see in your video, but I think is pressing against the internal bracket). Barkbusters does make tear drop shaped bar end weights that mount outside of the aluminum backbone. Or you can use a master cylinder bar spacer.
I actually think the Barkbusters would be better because these SWMotech’s are angled too far down and doesn’t block the wind 100%. I couldn’t rotate them up any more due to fitment.
Yeah, if I could do it all over again, I’d definitely do more research and probably go with something else. I was all caught up buying everything from SW-MoTech way back when.
Indeed, admittedly, I was trying to be the first to get some accessories and post videos on them. Similarly, I’m trying to resist buying the Akrapovic exhaust system with straight through pipes for this same reason.
@@ocdmoto Go to AF1 racing. They have everything Aprilia. I have been getting Aprilia from them for decades. The have 25 different exhausts for the Tuareg, slip on to full systems. I am getting the HP course SP-1 low mount titanium for mine. There are a lot of options out there for the T-Reg so look around.. I'll keep an eye out for ya..
