The funny thing about Baylor is people say that there is nothing special about their team they’re just a good team. But the thing that is special about them is in everyone of their conference games every player has been able to make a play that leads to them winning they may not make it look pretty but Baylor has the speciality of players making big time plays every time to win
Honest question was it better watching a great offense and horrifying defense when you guys were good back in 2013-2014 or watching now with a great defense and terrible offense
Being at the game, I don't know how TCU didn't see it coming. The Baylor special teams was in huddle for a good 30sec discussing that punt. You could tell there was something sneaky going on.
The only reason we won this game was because of the defense. The offense lets them do all the work for 3 quarters, and just barely wakes up from their siestas in the 4th and overtime’s. We will never be a great team until the Bears are firing on all cylinders. Get your act together, offense.
Same for Texas. They were great at the beginning. But after the OU loss and Tcu loss the offense has been struggling. The defense finally woke up. Now is the time for the offense to start firing on all cylinders. They've been only firing on only 2 or 3 cylinders.
Baylor is going to have to take advantage of Oklahoma's defensive flaws. Probably going to have to do alot of running plays since OU seems to have trouble stopping those. But even with that iron defense, OU offense is going to be potent and at least put up 28 points, guaranteed. Jalen Hurts and CeeDee Lamb make a demolishing duo on offense.
@@cassieblanche6812 exactly. But at the same time, good luck with that. Lol CeeDee is a slippery bastard and has flypaper for hands. I'm personally an OU fan but I'm excited for this game and hope it is a close one. Definitely should be the biggest matchup of the big 12.
OU's defense is the only thing really keeping them from being one of the best in the nation. Jalen Hurts is a boss, and CeeDee Lamb is the best damn receiver in the NCAA. The KSU game was a pretty big fluke.
lol I had the remote in my hand ready to change the channel right if he missed it and I’m not even a Baylor fan. I’m a Missouri fan but I really like Baylor for some reason
“Controlled the ball through the air.” I’ve seen crazy made up calls, but that’s a first. Controlling the ball through the air is not relevant without controlling it through contact after hitting the ground
LeRon-Jon Curry-Anderson the player was already past the goal line it was matter of staying in bounds. Ball has to cross the goal line which it was 5 yards past, then it just mattered how he stayed in
Matt Haselhorst it’s a fucking example holy shit y’all are dumb. He is saying that only his hand was in, so by that logic if u get a hand in the end zone u score a touchdown. U don’t score a touchdown obviously so he shouldn’t have caught the ball
One thing I can't understand is, how can you be a runner and put a hand on the ground and not be down. But a hand is down in the end zone. His foot touched out of bounds before a forearm came down. I tried doing a little research on it but never got a clear answer.
Derek Friesen I was under a similar assumption - I have never seen in any football game a person being called in bounds for placing a hand in brounds- literally no feet in bounds is supposed to mean incomplete
Baylor is going to have to play better than that if they're looking to remain unbeaten against Oklahoma. You already know Oklahoma offense is top in the big 12. Baylor is going to have to take advantage of OU's defensive flaws if they're going to stand a chance.
Justin im a baylor fan and guess what baylor has a defense somethig they havent had in a while watch we will get some picks in this game its not just about offense its about team work how do you think they have so many wins.
@@larrynix4977 they went into OT twice against some of the weakest teams in the big 12, both of which OU slaughtered. I doubt Baylor's defense has increased so much that they'd hold OU under 28 points. Your biggest hope for the game is to pray Oklahoma plays absolute paper defense like they did against K. St. Trust me when I say, you might slow the Sooners down with defense, but you won't shut them out. Your offense is going to have to bring more to the table.
>criticizing broken tackles in the 3rd overtime of a game that had no touchdowns in regulation. Yeah, CLEARLY neither team can play defense or tackle right? No way they're combining to lead nearly every defensive category in the league or anything.
I thought there was no way he’d make that field goal
4:46 the best play of the year
My first Baylor game to go to definitely one to remember
You might wanna go to gameday for the first time on Saturday. That would be an awesome experience
1:11 duggan should've ran
So the total score wasn’t over 70 points? Is this still the Big 12 Conference?
I listened to this game on internet radio. Tremendous game, especially overtime.

Baylor’s defense always nails them out. Disappointing how are offense let’s them down

WeShowYou39071319 I was thinking about that imagine if we had this defense back when are offense was good. We would be un beatable
Harry Browning that would be insanely good. You need to figure out how to make a clone of art briles and Matt Rhule combined and make him your coach
Cant wait til Bohanon starts. He gonna be beast!
Win the week. I have to say these Bears are pretty tough.
Most ballsy play call of the day was the Baylor fake punt.

Yeah you are right, we need both sides to play if we want to beat OU

Justin Klinck then the key is to make sure to cover CeeDee well enough that he and Hurts can’t connect. And get in as many qb sacks as possible

Update: OU barely escaped another loss to the Cyclones this evening, 42-41. They’re good but not invincible.
Not be rude this not my intention. But how can you loose or win by less than one point? You must be trolling.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Texas Longhorns77 I wish I was. They chose not to go into OT and did an onside kick instead that’s how the score ended up so close
Texas Longhorns77 nah lmao they loss to Baylor 24-23 and Oklahoma 41-42

Won’t lie, I told my buddy to get ready to leave before that 51 yard kick. Didn’t think he had a shot at making it.

Justin Rice nothing to be proud about, a third string quarterback for tcu took the bears to 3 OTs 😬

1:50 number 46 puts so little effort
A win is a win
On to Oklahoma
#SicEm #1-0
Effing Baylor
IF Baylor can beat Oklahoma. They should be in Final Four.
Facts
Lol no. Oklahoma wasn't even in the final four BEFORE losing to KSU. The top four teams are still much stronger than Baylor.
Yeaaaaaah Baylor bears dawg y'all keep it up dawg I'm proud of you dawg and y'all Dawg
Roman Normsm was 4 Dawgs really necessary
Cel dawg
Did he call it Fart Worth...?
5:54 football in the 21st century where tackling doesn’t exist.

Yeah, CLEARLY neither team can play defense or tackle right? No way they're combining to lead nearly every defensive category in the league or anything.
He never stepped out. Baylor got some lucky calls turned their way. Should have been TD in 3ot . At 5:54
Nah if u really look at it he didnt
sam fam it’s obv in the replay when he lifts his foot
I didn’t think there was conclusive evidence. Call should have stood. Oh well, the refs and replay screwed TCU again tonight vs Oklahoma
FIRE COACH FATTERSON
Even though he’s the reason you’re even in the big 12 today
I'd like to see how OU beats Baylor then. Duggan's touch down cooked by referee.
Yes, because TCU DIDNT have 8 chances score from inside the 5. But keep talking
Oklahoma is going to massacre Baylor next week
Chase Wynkoop nope
Chase Wynkoop maybe, but we’ll see. I think if Baylor wakes up and reaches their full potential it will be a great game.
Keep saying that they might win but not a blowout
Gonna be a tough one for sure!
