Can’t watch this yet, but I’m liking and commenting for the algorithm. It’s easy for me to say because I don’t have to feed your kids, but please don’t change a thing on your channel. It’s exactly what I’m looking for from UA-cam golf vids. But no hard feelings if you do what you need to do to grow. You have to look out for yourself.
Love it when the members look behind them and have the "what's that doing that far up" look on their face.
James is so generous with his tips and advice, he is a real plus for the channel👍👍
Top lad
I bet he is a really top coach. Knows his game and knows when to listen as well 👍
Great listening to James`s take on the ball flying from the lie you had . Another great vlog, can`t wait for part two.
Insights into James's golfing brain are a bonus and Jimbo Cam is definitely getting better.
Dan - you're elevating these vlogs with the course management tips from James and Joe. With the scores as they are caused by a little lack of thought this is a great lesson to us all. Great added value - thanks.
I love watching James play golf and hear him talk through his thought process.
James really knows how to get it round, great insight.
Love watching James play, you always learn something!
“Pretty bang on . “ Playing with James again !
Always great having James on the channel, great insight
That looks like a cracking course. And James’ tips and hints add real value.
That strike by jimbo on hole 5 was pure 😮
James is one of if not the best guests you have on the channel, straightforward, no frills, honest golfer.
So much golf course management to be learned here, a great watch.
It's great to see a golf club I was a member of 50 years ago. The memories came flooding back, especially the first hole where the green is situated at the top of a bottleneck. The layout hasn't changed.
Enjoying the breaking par series and absolutely love the channel. DHG Media is wonderful.
Great shot analysis conversations in this vlog, Dan.
It's nice to see the golf courses you play on display. But when you & James provide your insights as to how to play them properly and the questions they ask, the quality of your content rises above so many others'.
#ThumbsUpQuality
James comes over as such as nice bloke to play with. The idea of “self caddying” is great. Definately something to take to the course
Jimbo's golf is unreal, good job he plays the game better than he works the camera. Great vlog.
It's nice to see that you are giving the golf courses in the North West ago.😊
Love the commentary and explanation of course management and how to spot a flier lie.
Fantastic quality! So much helpful shot and course management to learn from which was well explained by James. The club yardage graphics are really informative, great work
Love this Dan. James is just a wealth of knowledge and some player. Always thought grass going with you caused a flyer rather going against. Interesting stuff 👍
Had the pleasure of playing Hesketh GC twice in recent years through DIGA, the Driving Instructors Golf Association. Shameless plug for any ADI’s looking for a game of golf, get joined up. One of the society was a member at Hesketh GC and sadly passed away a couple of years ago, and we had a wonderful Memorial Golf Day and dinner for him last year. Cracking course and will look forward to watching the video.
Your vlogs are the best - shame there aren’t more. Love the analysis from James - really interesting.
Great insight into the lies and the grass direction and considerations!!
I love listening to people like James, Joe, and Paul explain thought processes behind a shot. I was a single hdcp before cancer, And used to play with 0-2hdcp people and never did hear things like this before. So thanks to all to you guys
James ball lands behind bloke on 3rd tee shot, his reaction is gold…
As I`ve said: great vlog with Mr. Jimbo Ruth
Great video Dan. Great to hear how James plots his way around the course.
Some really great tips on lie reading from James. A great course management Vlog.
Great timing this video, playing Hesketh for the first time Saturday so this is a big help. Loved the vlog, always enjoy the addition of james to the video, thanks Dan 👍🏻
Excellent to see the thought processes of pro's.. Great video
Love those lessons or tips from James. Thanks guys.
Love listening to James's hints and tips.
He knows his stuff
Any video with James and/or Joe and one is in for a treat! Can I get James to take me through my options as well🤔
One thing that helped my short game years ago when I was struggling with the shorts and longs was the advice to envision playing to within a reasonable circle underneath the pin rather than laser focus on the pin. Almost immediately took some pressure/stress off with a larger target and got me back to stroke and club head feel rather than a grippy punch toward the pin. Don't know if that helps but it worked for me at the time. Enjoyed the walk with you and James.
Good video. Enjoying the course management portions of this vlog. James is just a beast with driver!!
Lovely looking course. Bring on the back nine👍
Watching James hit Driver is PURE! Looking forward to this.
Haha the angry old man giving you the stare on the 3rd hole, after jimbos drive landed near him whilst he was playing his 5th shot😅😅😅
Great information on reading potential flyers and landing points
Good to see you on the UK Golf Coast!!
Well guys just a really enjoyable vlog, James is a real asset to the team Dan, great to see and hear him talking about shots and how he sees them, also you never stop learning about this game...👍
Glad you enjoyed it Andrew 👍
Great as always, really enjoy watching good golfers.
Quality Stuff. Always a pleasure to listen to James’ advice. Flyer lies now fixed in my mind
Loving the course management tips. Keep up the good work.😀👍
I love these vlogs. It's amazing content lads. James is a beast too. He's a pleasure to watch.
Really good to hear the chat from James on course management.
Great first 9 boys, I’m learning that the secret to success is keeping the ball in play, other than pulling the big stick every time. Very helpful, thanks.
Love these vlogs. Particularly enjoy watching James. Keep up the great work
This has been a great watch, I’ve learned so much about lie and thinking more about club selection. Following on from Joe the pro this week about always consider the lie first. Great Vlog.
Tough front 9 for you both. Great to get some pearls of wisdom from proper golfers
Great video. Love James tips and self caddy talk
Loving the tips etc from James
Great vlog dan. Nice looking course. James knows his stuff, nice to hear some good advice
Another great break par series
Along with all the talent, and entertainment you and the "guys" bring every time, i appreciate the history that you provide concerning some of the courses you play, its very informative and a bit of class....Get Up Dan
Take the camera from Jimbo....hahaha...good luck this year Jimbo....as always love the blogs ...Get Up Dan
Beautiful golf course up there, very nice front 9
That old lady walking got a bit of a shock when he heard the bounce by him down 7 haha
Great challenge. Good to have James on discussing course management and the importance of reading your lies before picking a club.. cheers.😊
Thanks for showing us such great golf courses, looks stunning. Really appreciate learning a bit about the history of the courses when you do your vlogs Dan. James is a right treasure, and I’m sure I speak for everyone, when I say that it’s great to hear the on course advice and tips. Great video as always.
Another great course vlog! Can’t wait for part 2
Great vlog Dan the extra from James on the way he approaches shots and the course so interesting
Paul would be proud, 19 minutes into Part 1, "Must make putt" for Dan 😂😂
The vids just get better and better👍👍👍😁
A very tough track to pick for a break par. Enjoyed the tips from Jimbo and being a self confessed golf history anorak, I enjoyed hearing about Old Tom's other son and the great Doctor's brother.
Nice golf course. Good tip for pitching on the backswing try and get as slow as possible coming down.
Great listening to the decision making regarding different lies etc keep it up 👍
Great video! More of this please!
Great looking course!
Great video too, as always!
Fantastic, as always. Thanks!
Cheer up Dan that is a great front nine on a beautiful historic course. Jim, great advice on reading lies and great golfing, love watching your swing and hearing the crisp sound of the ball coming off your clubs. I really enjoyed this thank you both.
Just struggled out there on this nine Dougie, need to dig deep on the back side 👍
Great stuff gents - and well done for finding dry & sun oop North - a rare phenomenon indeed !
Welcome to the Golf Coast! Hope you enjoy your stay and have time to visit the Formby Pinewoods
nice camerawork, enjoyable video. "How far have I got, how much is the wind going to affect it and where do I want to land it", good advice.
It will be nice to see how a couple of Pros play it , i had the pleasure to play in the England Seniors series on the 30th of May. So it will be fun to see how you tackle the back 9, as that was my downfall on the day. Lovely club with very friendly staff and an interesting course
Another fantastic video. Keep up the great work.
Great watch as always.
Looks like place to visit, good work lads 🤟🏽
Thanks lovely golf
Life lesson on altitude from James
Altitude is how far north you are, nothing to do with sea level
Superb 😂😂😂
Great to watch, golfing master class (as ever) from grounded , funny human beings
Love it ❤
"There are two things that won't last long in this world, and that's dogs chasing cars and pros putting for pars."
Lee Trevino
Great viewing, great channel, enough said
Always great to get some insight from James. Would love to see James, joe, Paul and yourself play the other UA-camrs. Have a feeling you guys could dominate
Belter camera work jimbo lad🤣🤣🤣
Looking forward to this!
Class as always!
Great video as always, Dan.
Played Hesketh a few years ago along with Southport & Ainsdale both great courses. Great video Dan.
Lovely course and as always, a pleasure to see JR alongside you. Fingers crossed for a few more putts to drop on your back 9s chaps 🤞
I hope you release part 2 really soon😃
Thanks great advice
Evening dan good to see James again,I love these videos when you guys are talking through the process of working on shots and especially the fact of getting flyers out of the lies you have.
Most golfer wouldn’t think of things like that, and yes I get it’s all about ability and belief.
But even if you not the greats golfer on the planet you should take these sort of things into consideration.
And I think the more people what you videos the more they can start to understand what you talking about, keep them coming boys
There’s some properly useful stuff in todays video
Great stuff chaps!
Hole number 6 may be rated #1 stroke index due to how hard the green is to read. Both you & James are typically good green readers. The fact that both of you misread it is a tell for sure! Tricky front 9.
Class as always 🔥
