Swenson full lyric coloratura voice is wondrous in lyric soprano repertory. Her Pamina is incredibly beautiful. Regrettably, her voice was cast in the demanding coloratura roles which was her fach. That said her lyric soprano work though rare is in pirate recordings such as this.

She's lovely in this clip...I just wish she didn't take the high notes off the support...I think it's what caused her problems later in her career.
