    I love this video!!!Thanks for producing it in HD!You did a excellent job with recording it.I'm used to watching the 7.5 scale trains,but i must say this video was quite enjoyable.I may have to consider 5" scale...nice Steam Loco!

    It was a pleasure to watch you video along with my 2 yo son, who cheered every time the loco was coming towards us.
    How expensive is to build such a nice steam loco?
    Also I'm curious about that park: is privately owned, or is a joint-venture with other enthusiasts with whom you joined efforts to build it?

    What is the blower thing on the smoke stack called?

    • @mitchellhogg4627
      @mitchellhogg4627 8 років тому

      RailFan Jake there isnt anything on the smokestack...

      Typically in live steam you use a draft fan to draw the heat through the boiler when there is not enough pressure to run the blower. The other option is a compressor which can be hooked up to the blower so there is enough draft.

      VeggieRancher in full size steam you do that too, with a compressor as well.

    ......so in fact it is NOTHING like the lok in the movie POLAR EXPRESS lol! (well, apart from being a steam loco that is lol!)

    • @MrSteeleye
      @MrSteeleye 8 років тому +1

      +Ben Cripps What sort of inane dribble are you on about ??? This is a Mountain class type with a 4-8-2 wheel arrangement. Polar Express was based on the Pierre Marquette 1225 Berkshire type locomotive which has a 2-8-4 wheel arrangement.
