The especially creepy thing about Homeless for the Holidays is main character Jack Baker shares the same name as the deranged and murderous father figure in Resident Evil 7. If only it had turned out they ARE the same person, would've made for a much more entertaining film.
First Movie: Santa is omnipresent but uses fairies as scapegoats to spy on children. Second movie: Santa poisons 200 people and bankrupts a family to make one guy a better person because his wife refuses to get a job Third movie: Santa is really slow, wastes time and laughs. These movies don’t exactly paint Santa in a good light.
I "love" how so many Christmas specials like to push this concept that if you're working on Christmas to earn the money to keep your family safely housed, clothed, and fed, that means you don't love them. I have known plenty of families who celebrate Christmas on the nearest weekend because their family needs to work on the literal holiday. What matters isn't some specific date on the calendar, what matters is the love you all share.
Don't forget that it also makes it ok for your wife to leave you for a man that thinks Christmas is more important or call afford not to work that day ala Hallmark
Yeah, you're right. It's just not realistic to demand that nobody work at Christmas. Usually employees can't choose to get Christmas off because that would mean that everyone everywhere would be gone. Getting to choose when you get even one day off is a rare luxury.
So oddly enough, "A Fairy Christmas" is actually labeled as "A Very Fairy Christmas" on both IMDB and Amazon. The Amazon listing even has box art with that title.
Being unable to find work during the holiday season might be even less realistic than the chorus of Fairy Fairy Fairy World. I swear employers want people working 60-hour weeks the moment Thanksgiving flips to midnight.
Have you actually tried finding a job during the holidays? Employers not only refuse to lower their standards, but they're also expecting all applicants to be able to work 24/7 because they're so shorthanded, not realizing that they wouldn't be so shorthanded if they didn't have such unrealistic criteria!
@@otaking3582 Well i think it's worse this year in what the Restrictions have done to certain industries worst hit being the food and hospitality since at one point they had to close and lay off there employees and now they have to re hire them back and cut more staff or create part time/Seasonal postions making it hard to see how many people they actually need. I know December is a wild month for alot of places busy and we are expected to work harder but Covid is not helping our cause sadly for the past couple years.
@@thegreatcanadianlumberjack5307 Having worked in the restraunt industry... Most restaurants are already understaffed regularly, putting the work of a few people on one person. Holidays can be even more stressful and everyone wants to spend the time with their families.
I would say the last movie made the Christmas Tree look good. The first had WAY better animation and personality (but more than likely was done in Flash), the second was like a crappy Hallmark movie, and the third looked like a Phoenix Games movie with nearly every line spaced out for five seconds. If Phoenix Games didn't have that issue making movies, I'd prefer them over the last one as well!
Maybe the movie explains this, but if the dad in "Homeless For Christmas" is such a successful businessman, how does he not have any savings? He and his family somehow live paycheck to paycheck, so much that he hasn't even saved up for Christmas presents or his electrical bills, but he's also so successful at his job that he is offered a new job as soon as he is fired.
People love to spend what they don't have, especially when they have a lot. People will live paycheck to paycheck regardless of how big the paycheck is, because where a wise person might get a $100/week raise and think "Now I can pay off debts and start saving!", most people will instead think "Now I can afford to eat out more and get a better car!" and start spending an extra _$150_ a month.
not even that, but I know he lost his job and somehow it's his fault, but I doubt any other company, given his experience and his past success, wouldn't hire him on. Doesn't make sense to me.
Yeah, it seems like if they were going with the kind of plot where a curse forces someone to learn a lesson they could have gone with a series of other misfortunes to explain him losing his savings in a short period of time (car breaking down, home repairs, stock portfolio suddenly tanks, etc.)

Honestly, I think my favourite joke type on Peeb's channel is when he starts to speak enthusiastically, and then explains something in a deadpan voice close to the mic immediately after. Makes me laugh every single time.
Actually PBG showed up in The Rip-off World of the Worst PS4 games. But just for a Gilson B. Pontes joke. Also Caddicarus doesn’t make long collabs with a single person. The collab would work more on PBG’s channel
Historical laughter? Does that mean your laughter is so loud it becomes documented in history books? Or does it mean you both laugh in a way that is reminiscent of some specific style of laughter from long ago?
Jacks wife when he has a job: QUIT YOUR JOB! Jacks wife when he quits his job: GET A JOB! Jacks wife when he try’s too get a job: WHY ARE YOU NEVER HOME?!
Most Christmas movies about working during Christmas are usually about people who can afford to take time off for their families, but even on the one day when almost everybody says, "Nope, not open today," they decided that work is more important than family, even your own children. "Homeless for the holidays": "You will work your life away, getting berated and shunned by your wife, mocked by people who think they're your betters, and have children who are better than you on a moral level by a long shot. Merry Christmas, slob!"
I've been watching PBG's video's since I was about 8 and it is safe to say that he has shaped my entire view on comedy and part of my childhood as a whole. And It's always great to see him upload goodwill stuff especially on Christmas.
Over the years PBG has become one of my absolute favorite UA-camrs! I loved last year's XMAS video and it was amazing and hilarious. This year's was just as good. Keep em coming!

My question for the first Christmas movie is what kind of public school sends kids to school on Christmas Eve? Shouldn’t these kids be on Christmas break or does that not exist in their universe? 🤷♀️
More importantly, if this school even has a Christmas break, what would be the point of sending your kid to a new school on presumably the last day before it? Why not just start at the new semester?
You know your mission was successful with finding bad Christmas movies when the Homeless one was so painful just to listen about it was tempting to skip to the next movie. Wow that film sounds horrendous.
I like the fact that after all this time you are one of the few UA-camrs I used to watch as a kid that has both kept their style still actively post videos keep the same type of comedy and is just generally a nice wholesome guy I appreciate seeing that, I was tired of seeing so many just go down the crapper after a few years and seeing you still as good as ever makes me genuinely happy thank you
19:37 I'm honestly disappointed that blanket isn't striped, Because that's the exact shade as Freddy's Sweater...It's fitting because this whole film is a Nightmare...
Goodwill Movies: "Remember, brunettes, blondes are E V I L!" To be fair, typos in commercial texts *can* become HUGE problems worth thousands of bucks... *Cries in my past copywriting mistakes*
I love those movies that have some supernatural old man cursing the protagonist to teach them a valuable lesson. They're always the most intriguing part of the movie. Like, WHO is this man? Is it Santa? Is it God? Satan? Why aren't we watching him instead?
If I remember correctly, Lilting is a type of mouth singing traditionally done in Ireland. It kind of like yodeling in the sense where there is no lyrics.

Phelous fans will recognize the last movie as being a Bevanfield Abomination just by style alone lol
Now I know what you and Caddicarus can collaborate on:
The Cheap World of Thrift Store Games (ft. PeanutButterGamer)
I’d love to watch that they’re both really funny
thats amazing
YES
Followed by:
The Unnerving World of Surprise Creepy Games
Actually PBG showed up in The Rip-off World of the Worst PS4 games. But just for a Gilson B. Pontes joke. Also Caddicarus doesn’t make long collabs with a single person. The collab would work more on PBG’s channel
I don't know why but Peebs just flinging DvDs at himself was hilarious.
Your content always make me and my dad laugh historically and I just know this one's gonna be good ; )
Historical laughter? Does that mean your laughter is so loud it becomes documented in history books? Or does it mean you both laugh in a way that is reminiscent of some specific style of laughter from long ago?
The Fairy Christmas movie is the most 2000s thing I’ve ever seen.
Literally all of his videos give me a weird kind of nostalgia that’s really welcoming and pleasant.
It will always be a dream of mine to go to the thrift store with PBG someday XD
that intro already has me cracking up 😂
Jacks wife when he has a job: QUIT YOUR JOB!
Jacks wife when he quits his job: GET A JOB!
Jacks wife when he try’s too get a job: WHY ARE YOU NEVER HOME?!
She is literally a Karen
Thanks Peebs for the very merry Christmas video! Always keeping spirits bright
Thank you so much!
this is a great video
more goodwill movies will be appreciated, this video was very funny ^^
10/10
Thank you!
19:02 I honestly thought it was gonna be the Rankin/Bass one at first, especially because of the mouse on the cover which was probably intentional to trick viewers into thinking it is the Rankin/Bass one lol
The Rankin/Bass movie is one of my all time favorite Christmas movies. I miss Rankin/Bass.
Wat?
Why do all cheap Christmas movies have demented looking child or childlike characters… why can’t my eyes have rest
Happy holidays and happy New Years PBG fam❤️ much love keep up the great work Peebs!!!! To another year of content !
Holiday movies you should watch list:
Abominable Christmas (a yeti's children celebrate the holidays)
* I forgot the name but the second holiday movie on this list is about a time-travelling elf *
* I forgot the name but the third holiday movie on this list has a weird dog with a long striped tail *
Thanks for making good (mostly) clean content! It's hard to find stuff like this in today's world!
Peebs i doubt you'll see this but as someone who's been watching since 2012, im so glad to see you making videos for another year!! Keep it up my friend
Your bits and funny edits have been amazing this year cant wait for more next year
Homeless for the Holidays feels like an AI generated film script that just got made into an actual film.
I like the fact that after all this time you are one of the few UA-camrs I used to watch as a kid that has both kept their style
still actively post videos
keep the same type of comedy
and is just generally a nice wholesome guy
I appreciate seeing that, I was tired of seeing so many just go down the crapper after a few years and seeing you still as good as ever makes me genuinely happy
thank you
Your comment has no likes so I gave you one. You’re welcome!
20:51 that reindeer has a weird voice.
0:00 intro
1:23 A very fairy Christmas
9:46: homeless for the holidays
19:00 twas the night before Christmas
23:24 Outro
My first reaction to seeing a home intruder is to laugh uncontrollably as well. Perfectly normal.
19:37 I'm honestly disappointed that blanket isn't striped, Because that's the exact shade as Freddy's Sweater...It's fitting because this whole film is a Nightmare...
12:51 is seriously jammin'. 10/10
10:14 WELCOME TO THE FAMILY, SON!
Nice video PBG! Keep up the good work and Merry Christmas!
Really needed that today after my actual Christmas didn't start off well at all. Thank you for always lighting up my days, PBG ❤️
Children at 16:38: "🎶We're going chinese! We're going chinese!"
*CANCELED*
*☝️joke jic no one can tell
‘Twas the night before Christmas holds a special place in my heart. One of the earliest memories I have is watching that when I was like 4 years old
Always fun to go thrifting with Peebs
Merry Christmas
Therapist: Santa Peebs isn’t real, Santa Peebs can’t hurt you
Santa Peebs: 5:35
You better put the painting on the wall, (presumably a) kid.
2:03 that’s a better jump scare then anything in fnaf security breach
This isn't security breach, this is just a bad Christmas movie.
@@harrisonbetker2271 it seems you’ve misread the comment my friend
@@youtube_bat3811 it seems I did not "misread" any comment, and I'm not your "friend".
@@harrisonbetker2271 figure of speech, also, the main comment was referencing a jumpscare, not the actual movie
Goodwill Movies: "Remember, brunettes, blondes are E V I L!"
To be fair, typos in commercial texts *can* become HUGE problems worth thousands of bucks... *Cries in my past copywriting mistakes*
22:54 Pure gold
I love those movies that have some supernatural old man cursing the protagonist to teach them a valuable lesson. They're always the most intriguing part of the movie. Like, WHO is this man? Is it Santa? Is it God? Satan? Why aren't we watching him instead?
I can't wait to watch this with my best friend, *A Pine Tree* !
21:44 Showed my Dad this the other day, and this part completely slayed him.
If I remember correctly, Lilting is a type of mouth singing traditionally done in Ireland. It kind of like yodeling in the sense where there is no lyrics.
Omg the night before Christmas!!! I had that VHS as kid!!! I loved it
