No offense, but I think you're not mentally ready to read Berserk. Other than being another deep rabbit hole, Berserk will change your life as well as your appreciation to manga art.
As great as the trailer looks for a fan project I'm going to hold my expectations until it gets realesed. I feel you and I hear you and just like you Im almost only an anime type guy but Berserk is the exception for the art alone because Miura was the actual GOAT. I truly feel that there will never be a Berserk animated adaption to ever get close to a fraction as good as the manga.

the 3d one youre talknig about was terrible not just becaue of the technical aspects like the animation but the story was botched too so dont bother with that crap
