I think the howler is a shapeshifting but it can not take a human form because it combined with a tripod so it and kinda shape its body but not too much.

I think the bacteria is a type of fungus or parasite that makes ppeople's body corrode until eventually their bodies are left as a decomposing skeleton covered in the black fungi. In found footage 2, the bacteria originally was a woman that crashed her car in the backrooms, and tried resting in the room next to the car crash. She eventually succumbed to the mold. In found footage 3, the more zombie like bacteria is in an earlier faze, as the body is half corroded.
