6: Madipakkam Sri Ayyappan Temple Renovation Appeal

Madipakkam Sri Ayyappan Temple (Utthara Sabari Gireesham) was consecrated in the year 1978, by Sabarimalai Thanthiri, "Thazhamon Madom" Brahmashri Kantaru Neelakandaru Thanthiri. Lord Ayyappa is seated on top of the Holy 18 Steps, like in Sabarimalai. The 1978 Temple Architecture was designed by "Kaanipayyur Mana" Brahmashri Sri Krishnan Namboodhiri (senior).
After Brahmashri Kantaru Neekantaru Thanthiri, "Thazhamon Madom" Brahmashri Kantaru Mohanaru Thanthiri and Brahmashri Kantaru Mahesh Thanthiri are now the Thanthiri of our Temple.
The Pooja rituals of this Temple are performed by Kerala Namboodhiris and all the procedures are like how its performed in Sabarimalai.
In the year 2022, an Ashtamangala Deva Prashnam was conducted by "Kaimukku Mana" Brahmashri Narayanan Namboodhiri and the orders for the temple renovation came from the Lord.
We have started the work for renovating this glorious Temple, with the new Temple architecture designed by "Kaanipayyur Mana" Brahmashri Sri Krishnan Namboodhiri (junior).
