I think i hear another D (bass note) after the 11th fret of the g string and before the first slap. Pretty sure he plays it with an upstroke of the thumb. Normally tabs are all kinds of wrong so i wouldnt comment something like this but i think that might be the single error i hear in the whole thing, thanks you so much great vid.

I think there's a fair bit of reverb. His percussive technique here is using all fingers straight perpendicular to strings (unlike the John Mayer rotating thumb slap) on downbeats and plucking out on offbeats (and since he's using triplets, it's a lot of down out down patterns)
