in this quick video i get in another blower motor and try to fit it in the hope to get Mrs Ps heating working in her car. so lets get down and dirty and get it done. here is my wish list if anyone would like to buy something for our channel.

Thanks for the video for the Citroen c4 heater blower, I just did mine and it was a real pain to get off, took me well over an hour as I'm 68 and not very flexible. I took it apart just as you did and wired the blower to a battery and it was working so I had a look at the resistor which was in the same condition as yours was, lots of corrosion. I thought that I would try and clean it up before resulting to buying a new one to see if I could get it to work and save some money. So cleaned it with a brass brush and then liberally sprayed it with WD40 and reassembled it then I connected it up to the car to test it before putting it back on the car and it worked fine. It only took about 30 minutes to to put it back together because I parked it on a ledge to enable me to do it standing up and now I have heat and very clear windows. Thanks a lot for the practical video.

Hi Mick thanks to ur video I took my heater blower out of my citroen grand picasso cleaned it as it was water damaged now it works thanks once again

You put in and out and shake it all about lol. Good job buddy glad your all fixed now with heat nothing worse than no heat. I have had happened in few bangers lol. Would cost 200 pounds for unit and probably in workshop at least 120pounds so you have saved a few quid.👌👍👍 The fellow is Brilliant 😀😎

Man he is to cute .. Boy was he so excited about the kinder egg lol. There is also a foaming cleaner that you can spray down the vents that will clean the vent tubing out and wont hurt the motor or resistor either and will also clean the heater core and the ac condenser too.. Plus had a tad bit of an air freshener in it too. Also when you was showing the vent controls on the dash the vent that is rite next to it looked to me like it had some green mold growing on it too so might also want to take a old tooth brush and give it a cleaning too..But as always awesome video to the both of you and glad you got it done for her on her BIRTHDAY..

My 20 11 citroen car heater stopped 25 February 20 20 tried every thing it turned out to be earth wire on passengers wing I found it my self sprayed contact spray on it heater blower came on straight away worth a go
Ive tried everything bar that ground your on about and theres a heater relay but i cant find it. Get no voltage going in to the resistor pack

I had problem with a fan blower motor. It was stucked because of rust and dirts. Afer tear down it and everything clean and lubricate, it works like a charm. Of course, I do some measures first. 12V constant power supply was present, regulated voltage from control panel was good, output voltage was fine when I try bulb instead fan motor. When I connect motor, there is no output because voltage regulator (someone call it resistor or rheostat, but it is electronic voltage regulator) has internal short protection circuit.

I have the exact same problem and the video was a lifesaver thankyou! The bit I am stuck at is when testing the power out from the cable, direct cable reads 12v but after resistor is under 2v. I think it is the fan motor the same as you but is it normal to have this drop in voltage after the resistor or could it be faulty?

A result there with the heater motor. I have a C4 Grand Picasso myself (the daily driver and workhorse) and I've documented most of the repairs I've done on my channel.

Try the 2 wire loom that's is on the working blower on the non working units. They commonly overheat and burn out

Sounds like a relay or a directional device has broken.. that or I pipe has come off

Hi, my blower works on my C4 Picasso, but doesn't heat. It will still do Aircon. Does this video apply?
