That’s pretty funny. I’ve been singing all my life and have a fairly deep voice. Many years ago, I was singing in a country band and one of the songs I did was “Rambling Fever” by Merle Haggard. There’s a spot where I guess I had hit either vocal frie or subharmonics and didn’t realize it. And yes I’ve got welding stuff here in my shop. A flux welder and now a stick welder. But thanks to this video I may have to get a TIG. Lol.
Not a welder myself but this seems like a really well-tailored solution to a common problem. Get some in the hands of the big welding UA-cam channels like weld professor and the welding academy and if they give you some good feedback then I'm sure your sales would start to snowball.
I use the Tig Stick every single day and It’s killer! The wheel is holding up to major abuse and I have yet to see any wear. New favorite tool in the shop.
It is a great idea and was part of my original “dream design” for this tool actually haha! Maybe someday I’ll incorporate that and a couple other features as updates. One update that will be coming for sure though is a battery pack that clamps onto the existing unit and plugs right into the power supply port. Thanks for the support! 🙌
Was here chasing sub H. Grew up on Harleys, Indian etc. Been welding on everything since I could remove my diaper. 🤣 guess I found a new channel to follow. 👍🏻
I don't weld anything but it looks so usefull. Nothing to do with this video but I was wondering, have you ever seen/reacted to high level throat bass subharmonic? like 5th sub or more?
Hi David, I found your channel years ago from the Schwinn Cadillac resto, still one of the best on YT. I also TIG, and for my tungsten I just use a disc grinder with a dedicated diamond wheel (only used for tungsten) and I chuck up my tungsten in a driver drill. I hold as needed to get a fresh grind at any angle needed. It's pretty quick and with a little practice easy to get good angles. Does this tool do anything to make that easier or better? Maybe more consistent? Cheers
Someone should make a tungsten sharpener that worked using a cone with diamond sintered to the inside that was battery powered and roughly the size of a tube of tooth-paste, or like the size of a electric screwdriver. Having a sharpener like this would let you sharpen the tungsten without fully removing it from the torch, just loosen the back cap and pull it out a little bit and re-tighten the cap to hold the tungsten out. It could have quick change sharpening cones for different angles, and it could have some diamond around the outside of the cone too for removing bulk material like if you dipped it badly, then you just finish the grind with the cone. you could be welding and do a touch up of your tungsten with one hand, one holds the torch and the other holds the sharpener. Since you dont have to remove the tungsten, you dont have to wait for it to cool or risk burning you r nice tig welding gloves :)huh
came here to rewatch your how to subharmonics for the n-th time, got presented a beautiful tool I might just buy. have you got EU power adapters too? do you ship to EU as of yet? greetings from Germany good fella!
Hi there! Thanks a ton for the support! I don’t have any EU power adapters in stock at the moment, but I can get them pretty easily. Shipping there is no problem! Email me or contact me through my website and I can help get you taken care of 👍
@@davidlarson3905 I'll do once I can convince my wife that I need a 200 $ tungsten grinder. I do believe that your product's worth it, but it is a bit steep for me at the moment.
I just wanted to learn about subharmonics, but I guess I'm doing TIG welding now. Brilliant channel

@stlCkofdOom Me to XD
But can it do subharmonics?
😂if you use 2 of them maybe

Nicely produced video, best of luck with the sales.
The sound of the grinding is too high, i suggest you add a perfect 5th
This seems so cool. Could you add a spring tension so that if you let go it automatically lifts the tungsten when you let go of it?
I think you'd have to push the stick in really hard for it to grab on, but it is a great idea to foolproof the device 👌

I have absolutely no welding experience but this seems like a dope ass video! Nifty

Hire some singer to add music in the end like "padapa I'm loving it"

Mwahahahahaha! I knew you’d one day share your secret to singing solid subharmonics. I’ll take two!

Do you ship to Ireland?
He can also make you fall inlove with him hehe
What happens when you inhale too much tungsten?...Use ventilation.
Coges la radial con 1 mil hojas y haces lo mismo ya está....
