I think he speaks so much better than Beale. He seems honest, intelligent and humble. He isn’t trying to sell a dream but can provide a clear understanding of a process. He seems positive but grounded. I’ll reserve my judgment on him but he seems promising. Let’s get behind him and the team. Performance and results are the most important. Let’s hope he gets the support and players he needs to realise his style of play for us!
Well up to now impressed, seems to have feet on the ground not promising the world but to improve, of course all depends on who and how many he , or rather Speakman brings in. So over to you KLD and Speakman, give this guy the tools to do the job and I feel in my bones, and they are very old, that we could have a canny season

Bring 5-6 players in and some experience with that and I’ll be happy obviously we don’t know who we are going to lose yet but I’m hoping for a good entertaining season!
We need to sign 6 or 7 players. 2 strikers minimum. A right winger than will produce, a back up winger that can push the starting 11. A holding midfielder. A centre back. Possible a left back given all the issues we’ve had.

@@williamanderson8932but they are looking to bring in staff for him. He did explain that process is in place. It just won't be his previous staff. He was quoted as saying "we want the best"
The man does talk really well and seems like a canny bloke and it was a very good first press conference from him but the only thing that's very worrying and concerning moving forward is that the coaches that we're bringing in won't be his from Lorient, very disappointing, apparently they're not allowed to upset Dodd's and Proctor
Wait and see what happens as they may be going exactly the same process as Reggie had to go thru in applying for a work visa and if it's been turned down it will have to go too an appeal process which can take ages. Give him a chance and the club to get things sorted out 👍🤔
@@malcolmdonnison3987 I'm giving Le Bris a chance and I hope he does well but he's basically confirmed that it's not his own backroom staff coming which is a massive disappointment
@@ThaneME2I didn't take it that way, he seemed to not want to discuss any names who are already in a job and just gave a vague answer. I'd wager he brings his own staff with him still.

Downeys pathetic questions compared to everyone else’s speaks volumes on how much Downey hates Sunderland. Surely sky sports news needs to get a Sunderland reporter who actually isn’t biased.
