Just curious why is there a trend with making blank spaces? Is it just for people who don't like seeing comments/video suggestions while also not having to go full screen to hide them?
This might be one my favorite videos of yours ever, as someone who got back into reading just a few years ago I love to hear the books other people have read and their thoughts. I loved hearing your opinions and congrats on getting through that many books this year. I would love to see a pt. 2 in the future after you get through some more books.
For the final vid of this series (if u havent got plans already) you should do a reflection on your year. Like what you accomplished, milestones, highlights etc. Would be cool to listen to you look back on 2023 😊
Wow I love this video it’s perfect!I am always looking for book tapping ASMR and I never seem to find a really good one but this is everything❤Perfect amount of explaining and always good to have some recs!
The Nightingale is the best book I’ve ever read. You should read The Great Alone, it’s by the same author and it’s amazing too. I didn’t want it to end
Loved the book tapping Brynne. I have different taste than you but I'd love to hear your takes on Greek tragedies and other classical literature in a casual book scratching and tapping format. Song of Achilles was especially inspired. More book videos please and I hope you ate something after filming this. 🍪
I've been following you for a long time and this video is so great. I started reading The Nightingale on your advice and this is the best book ever. Thank you 💕
So much I liked about this video - like, so much that would have normally put me to sleep, but I also found myself smiling away with the convoluted points system - who gives a book "3.2" or "2.7"? I loved it! The real kicker was Brynne's dark side appearing as Vanta black with wanting farmed human flesh! 😱🤣🤣🤣 Brilliant content, and deserving of the same rating system: Whispering: 4.1 Book tapping: 4.3 Rating system: 3.96 Breaths while tapping: 8.992 🤣🤣🤣 Kidding! I loved it all! 👏👏👏👏
I feel the same way about Tender is the Flesh. I listed on audiobook and just felt like I was missing something in the story. Glad to know I’m not the only one who expected more.
I honestly want to start reading again, 😂 I actually used to read but for some reason I stopped, but I think I should start getting back into that because it also was a good thing to promote sleep aswell 😊
I actually read almost every day like mostly textbooks but one character I love reading the most is the hunger games because I just love the part of the action and the movie and hope they can continue making the hunger games chapter
Highly recommend Sky Masters by Dale Brown and Team Yankee by Harold Coyle. Team Yankee is pretty short and a good starter book to see if you like books like that. Happy New Year!
Excellent video! I've been following ASMR videos on UA-cam for years, and I have always enjoyed when they have talked about books. Today was no exception. I was in the book business for over 20 years so I like book recommendations. I started hearing about Booktubers on UA-cam and I subscribe to around 30 channels now after subscribing to as many as 85, lol. Followed asmr first. I don't know if you actually watch UA-cam yourself, but tell me what kind of books you like and I can recommend some Booktubers to you. Love your asmr also.
I really recommend the DIMILY series ( did I mention I love you) from Estelle Maskame. It got me into reading and the series will never leave my heart. Love your video!! ❤️
White fang and dogs of the winter are great books. My favorite ever book was dog of the winter its such a great story that I read when I was in like 5th grade.
Based on what you said you like in a book, I highly recommend Pretty Girls and Behind Closed Doors. Both are pretty “messed” up in my opinion, but were SO good lol.
I enjoyed your book review. I think you did a very nice job of reviewing them. Sadly, I haven't read any of those books, so I can't give a rating on them. I saw the 1979 movie Salem's Lot, though, and thought it was pretty good and rate the movie three stars out of five. ⭐⭐⭐ I used to read a ton of books and magazines before I switched to reading on the Internet. The last books I read (meaning an actual book you hold in your hands while reading) were seven books from the Bronte sisters about 20 years ago. Although they were good (my favorite was Wuthering Heights), the story of the life and times of this family of writers was as interesting as their books. 🙂
Knowing you rowed in college, you have to read “The Boys in the Boat.” They’re making a movie version of it but the book is so good. Look it up. You won’t be disappointed.
Loved the books recs!!! Keep them coming next year, I’ve been on a memoir kick but they can get very sad, although a more lighthearted/coming of age book I’d recommend is “everything I know about love” sooo good, also made me cry and is a GREAT read being in your 20a imo - I don’t think it would’ve hit as hard later in life
I really enjoyed Mexican Gothic, so I'm surprised you didn't love it! It's supposed to be reminiscent of Gothic fiction of the past (think Edgar Allan Poe, Frankenstein, etc). That's why it sounds so historical!
It's funny how most of american book covers looks "fancy" compare to european book (even european version of some of these books or at least the french ones). We have generally much much sober covers.
It Ends With Us has a second book! You gotta read it! That's why you didn't love the ending as much lol. Please read the next one. The duet is great!! ❤
im not much of a read so this seems like a very impressive amount to read in a year BUT damn ya gotta do some digging and find some better books that are worth your time based on your ratings!!! you deserve it. great vid great asmr
hii, i would love to recommend you a book called The Earth is singing by Vanessa Curtis is it about the second world war and i really loved it so maybe you can try it and i would love to see in this series of videos a video with maggie it could be something like remembering on old times with talking about your memories or brushing hair the kind videos you have already filmed ... i really enjoyed this video, so THANK YOU
please read King of Greed by Ana Huang!!! it’s apart of a series but you don’t need to read them all (they’re standalones) i read this book in one day and i haven’t read since it was mandatory in middle school…i’m in college
Also recommending The butterfly garden by dot Hutchinson since the flesh book was a disappointment to you. Also The boy called IT is VERY messed up but it’s sooooooo good and I couldn’t put it down also based on a true story. I have some other taboo reads that I can recommend but you can’t find them on Apple Books or Amazon lol
this video is definitely now one of my favorites from you. I just recently got back into reading this year and LOVE watching people talk about books! love this!
I get what youre saying about Mexican gothic, my wife had a copy and i read it and also found it hard to follow, and not really satisfying in any of the reveals
It ends with us 5/5 stars 100%, amazing ending, epic quote: Cycles exist because they are excruciating to break. It takes an astronomical amount of pain and courage to disrupt a familiar pattern. Sometimes it seems easier to just keep running in the same familiar circles, rather than facing the fear of jumping and possibly not landing on your feet. My mother went through it. I went through it. I'll be damned if I allow my daughter to go through it. I kiss her on the forehead and make her a promise. "It stops here. With me and you. It ends with us.

Ahhh love this idea!!!!!
Please do these more!! I love listening to you explain the books, so relaxing!
Book talk Asmr is just S+ tier relaxing
No wonder you didn't like those books. They're all written backwards.
Underrated comment.
Hahah
Stop holocaust against Palestinians children and women free Palestine 🇵🇸
Omg this is dreamy!! Ive just got back into reading since becoming a mum. Reading or ASMR right before bed every night so this is a dream combo🥰
This video gave me some inspiration for books I want to read, it would be cool to see more book videos like this from you next year 😊
Loved the book tapping Brynne. I have different taste than you but I'd love to hear your takes on Greek tragedies and other classical literature in a casual book scratching and tapping format. Song of Achilles was especially inspired. More book videos please and I hope you ate something after filming this. 🍪
I NEED more of theses! I loved this! And your book tapping is on point!
I've been following you for a long time and this video is so great. I started reading The Nightingale on your advice and this is the best book ever. Thank you 💕
Oh yay!!!
i don’t even read but you are the only person i can listen to talk through asmr and fall asleep (in the best way)
I just got back into reading in the last few months so this came at the perfect time! Please do more of these, I loved it 🥰💖
So much I liked about this video - like, so much that would have normally put me to sleep, but I also found myself smiling away with the convoluted points system - who gives a book "3.2" or "2.7"? 🤣🤣🤣 Kidding! I loved it all! 👏👏👏👏
Yesss this is a bit of me, I’m always looking for new book recommendations! Plus the book sounds were so nice ❤
If you loved The Nightingale, I recommend The Great Alone by the same author. Also, Archer’s Voice…🥰🥰🥰
the tapping on books and the soft spoken voice is calm and tingly as always. interesting choice of books. thank you
this is the earliest ive been to a beez video! i will play in the background while i study for my AP biology exam :(
I also love messed up/taboo books, you’re right it’s like most authors don’t want to go too far :( 😂 but odd topics are sooo interesting!
I could listen to you talk about nothing for hours, so soothing
Omgshh “it ends with us” I thought it was amazinggg! You need to read the second book “it starts with us”, which is actually the second part.
Archers voice literally has my heart ❤️ I feel ya I wish I could read that book for the first time again
I feel the same way about Tender is the Flesh. I listed on audiobook and just felt like I was missing something in the story. Glad to know I’m not the only one who expected more.
Beez recommends the gift of a good book 📖 this holiday 🎄 season 😊.
We are spoiled. Thanks Brynne! 🧑🎄🎄❄️
I love these constant uploads! I’m hoping for an opposite of aggressive triggers pt 3! Happy Holidays 🎄
Your nails + Books = The best Tapping. Nice video Brynne and you look perfect with this sweater 😘
I honestly want to start reading again, 😂 I actually used to read but for some reason I stopped, but I think I should start getting back into that because it also was a good thing to promote sleep aswell 😊
thank you for being active at the end of the year 💖
I actually read almost every day like mostly textbooks but one character I love reading the most is the hunger games because I just love the part of the action and the movie and hope they can continue making the hunger games chapter
Thank you Beez for this vid, i loved it in a different way. Please make this book review asmr video a annual ritual.
Highly recommend Sky Masters by Dale Brown and Team Yankee by Harold Coyle. Team Yankee is pretty short and a good starter book to see if you like books like that. Happy New Year!
Have to agree with everyone recommending The Great Alone! Kristin is suuuuuch a good author, if you loved The Nightingale you will also like this one!
I have spent the year basically just reading Stephen king books, Salem’s lot is the next book on the list didn’t realize it was that long.

Whenever I order a new book, I will definitely try out NightingGale
Yes!!
I completely agree with Tender is the flesh, loved the idea but it definitely fell short and I gave it a 2.5 stars.
Needed this to relax during finals week 😊
I enjoyed your book review.
I think you did a very nice job of reviewing them.
Sadly, I haven't read any of those books, so I can't give a rating on them.

one beez video every day is quite literally the best thing that has happened to me in 2023 HAHA 🫶🫶
You never disappoint with your videos ✨️ Brynne 😴😴❤
Knowing you rowed in college, you have to read “The Boys in the Boat.” They’re making a movie version of it but the book is so good. Look it up. You won’t be disappointed.
I second this
Wait I didn’t know it was a book! I can’t WAIT to see the movie
I could just watch her talk all day. I love just looking at her be interested in things
yaay! so excited to watch this 💞
Loved the books recs!!! I wish Tender is the Flesh was longer, there’s definitely room for the author to write a second book. I agree I definitely wanted more
You’ve been giving us so many uploads recently!
Could not agree more about the nightingale OMG best book ever I loved it

I love this so much!!! Please do this more often 🤍🤍
I really enjoyed Mexican Gothic, so I'm surprised you didn't love it! It's supposed to be reminiscent of Gothic fiction of the past (think Edgar Allan Poe, Frankenstein, etc). That's why it sounds so historical!
Do you use a self facing camera? Was thrown by the backwards book titles. Wonderful amsr, books and tapping on point
"On the 12 Days of Christmas, Beez gave to me, Her excellence"

I'm currently reading Upon A Frosted Star by M A Kuzniar, inspired by Swan Lake - it's such a good Christmassy/wintery read ❄️
A court of thorns & roses or throne of glass series by Sarah j. Maas. ❤
Also recommending The butterfly garden by dot Hutchinson since the flesh book was a disappointment to you. Also The boy called IT is VERY messed up but it’s sooooooo good and I couldn’t put it down also based on a true story. Also wanted the villain to win in that story.. would have been an interesting twist imo
Love this, Brynne! Just what I needed for relaxation! 😇❤
