this is one of my fave part in the manga, the reveal that his power is to return the heroes back to earth with the push they need to move forward on earth is genius
Yep the one thing I liked about each of the heroes that the protagonist comes across is each and every one of them is a deconstruction of life supposedly getting better before protagonist when they're sent to another world and my all-time favorite when we get up to the Goblin Archbishop how piling more trauma in an attempt to break in many of these Heroes to prevent them from going rogue is it going to help either! Reading a different isekai where are character and a good many people from his school teachers and students are brought to another world and the princess of the Kingdom that brought them starts treating them like s*** first thing she does to him when he comes off powerless is to make him run through a monster Forest where he's expected to die so that they can use him as an example to the rest of his schoolmates not to fail them only instead he unlocks of very overpowered power from almost getting killed and when he reaches the location he was supposed to reach he discovers it's a pretty different Kingdom meaning in essence even if he somehow survived the very moment he identified himself as being from the princesses Kingdom it likely wouldn't have ended well for him. Later on when he confronts the princess it's revealed that previously her family her ancestors summoned Japanese from another world but each and every one of them turned on the Kingdom so she acted cruel and treated them as less than human because she was trying to prevent them turning on them basically creating a self-fulfilling prophecy especially adding on that looking at how messed up the royal family is they may have been the ones who provoked those isekai heroes in the first place one and then tried to act as though they were ungrateful and turned on them so they don't look like the bad guys. I mean her people are kind of in the dark on what's Happening to the summoned people they just assume they're being trained and helping them of their own free will when it's a mix of hostage-taking and a slave bracelet one of the overseers was even about to try to kill some of the hostages when he suspected the protagonist who they don't know is alive but but they're suspecting a jailbreak was at the point where he was ready to rescue everybody he had to remove the slave bracelets first and then secure an Escape Route after he pretty much takes over the kingdom well the people are perplexed on why does someone's heroes are acting in a different manner especially his female classmate one of the girls in his Harem and someone he knew who basically got healing powers and was being overworked by the princess he used her healing powers for the benefit of the Kingdom she was forced to pretend that she was a nice kind painters but let's just say once they're free and now in control of the Kingdom she's no longer acting so damn you know ready to kill herself healing everybody and openly sugar sweet nice make sense when you were kind of having a gun put on the back of your head to make appearances no one would really like to interact with the people who force them on pain of death of themselves or others to act like a saint. Unlike the others, especially the Hero I mentioned with the Bullies! That Heroine's "friend" showed her "true colors" when she excused her of being all the rumors against her just because she couldn't handle the fact that her first BF was a POS who OBVIOUSLY didn't care for her and was using her as a springboard to better his chances for the Heroine! @IO-BLANK-OI everybody's been going down The Shield hero route where they're deconstructing the idea of summoned to another world. Such as as you discover with many of the heroes that the protagonist comes across that no being sent to another world to defeat a Demon Lord does not fix everything about your life hell might end up making things worse Maoyu had the Demon Queen illustrated what "The Hero" actually ends up being! Which is essentially a convenient assassin in the eyes of the other side. I think what I love about that anime was how when you look at it the entire war between the demons and the humans boils down to an actual War instead of a good versus evil especially loved how many of the major antagonists were basically humans and demons who were the equivalent of profiteers who got their own benefits through keeping the war going as long as possible to counter to protagonists who are trying to basically trying to conclude things peacefully because if either side wins the Nexus 5 things will not end well for the losing race the side that wins is then going to start fighting among themselves so the war will not only not end but will have a lot of Bloodshed and destruction and let's not forget the famines and plagues along with dark ages that happen after War concludes nasty and then add on with the civil war would bring about! I love the isekai that do the deconstruction right and especially the ones that do reconstruction right where they take those ideas they're deconstructing and then showing how they actually can possibly work as much as I like deconstruction there are too many of them and I prefer stories where they actually do show a realistic way some ideas can work😊
