@@audreymai2773I was in jail for a night for a warrant for unpaid traffic ticket. I did not agree that I did anything wrong and refused to pay it. They put out a warrant and arrested me. I am a very small woman at only 5’1” and 116 pounds. I was put in with a woman who had murdered her husband with a shotgun. She blew his head clean off. She was actually a nice lady. She and I talked. She vented to me about how he had mistreated her for many years. I got along with her and since I was 13 weeks pregnant at the time she kept trying to feed me noodle bowls and stuff because she was afraid I would not get enough nutrition from the tray they served for dinner. I actually put some money on her account once I got out because she was very good to me. I was still very shocked they would put me in with a lady who was in for violent premeditated murder. She was also a lot taller and a lot bigger than me. If she had wanted to hurt the small pregnant lady it would not have been hard to do. They do a terrible job of keeping inmates safe due to the fact that they just mix people together no matter what their charges are. I was in for an unpaid traffic ticket! I come from a prominent family in our community! It was a shock to me that they would do that because if anything had happened to me I am someone whose family has the power to make sure they answer for it. It has to be that they are just so used to mixing everyone that they did not even think about the possible repercussions of putting a very low level offender in with a very violent offender. They seem to not care what happens. There need to be laws and jail reform about classification of inmates!

As a matter of fact, most of the dark people have criminal records a mile long before they even turn 18 and they are always treated like innocent little babies. Just remember what the democrats say about light and dark people, "White men are the biggest threat this country" and "blacks are a protected class." So don't expect any of them to give a flyin sheet about what happen to a White man or his family, you won't see any statues put up like they did for the coke head "saint floyd." You won't see any democrat politicians, or any celebs, or major companies like Disney paying for the children of this White man to go to school or give them free Disney passes for life like they did with fentanyl floyd's kid. Although, you might find democrats pardon or give parole to this young man's rapist and killers if they are non-light people.

@@tobykornreich2719Unlike local jails, prisons typically hold no distinction between inmates when it comes to the housing of prisoners (with some exceptions.) Meaning, a car thief serving a 14 month sentence may very well be cell mates or housed in the same general area, as someone serving 20 years for Attempted murder. There are exceptions of course, but generally speaking, an inmate (especially one on his way home) may very well be amongst potentially violent general population inmates. Also, contrary to what some have mentioned here about jealousy, ordinarily other inmates are usually hopeful (anticipating favors on the outside), or unbothered to see a short-timer going home. If this kid was attacked in an open dorm-like setting by three or more guys, chances are he broke one of the known major rules of prison life.

This is shocking. Unfortunately most Americans seem to think getting raped is deserved by prisoners, making jokes about cellmates called bubba and it’s all a big joke. I can’t understand the mentality..
There’s a ton of violence in UK prisons; slashing with razor blades , boiling sugar water thrown in faces, and there’s also a lot of lower level bullying of vulnerable inmates, often over drug debts, but rape and murder are extremely rare. Rape just isn’t the done thing among inmates. They’re repulsed by it, and it is repulsive
