I am European but still a little disappointed that there's not additional skin tone options for the thumbtips even tho Shin Lim himself is Asian. The darkest thumbtip that I've ever seen and held was for Asian skin tone but It was the only time.

Would you mind to tell, are the most of the tricks in the instruction booklet done with ordinary items and are they something that an experienced magician wouldn't know? Should I feel like this kit is overrated? I would be more interested in just the instruction boocklet just like in Penn&Teller's magic kit.
I wouldn't want to buy this just to get disappointed. Honestly I don't care about those props that much just by watching this video, because they're pretty classic and not so different than something you can do with ordinary items. I also have a better thumbtip already and the Svengali Deck is terrible because it makes people think that you always use that kind of trick deck.

I would say this magic kit is suitable for beginner magicians. If you have already experience in doing magic then I would not recommend you to buy as like what you mentioned, most of the magic tricks are pretty classic here but the biggest takeaway of this kit is the showmanship that Shin Lim taught and the way they combine the classic tricks into such powerful routines. I have been playing with magic stuff for years and I do learn something from this magic kit. however if your intention is to learn new magic tricks/concepts, then I would suggest you to buy other stuff instead of magic kits.
anws for the instructional booklet, I didn't finish reading (haha I just roughly glance through it) so I can't really give you my opinion on that but they only teach card tricks..not with ordinary items.

@@tjokerz Oh, I explained badly, sorry about that, but what I meant is I don't remember if there was more in the P&T kit in addition to the "toys" but at least there was instructions for 125 card tricks and cards are one example of ordinary items. I've lost all the instructions of it long time ago but in this one there's still 100 card tricks witch is a lot too. I don't even know over 100 card tricks even tho I can and have been done many different things using just the same principles. If I could get new ideas for card tricks from the legend in this one as well, it might be worth just 50 bucks because you can't have enough of card tricks. Nowdays I don't even get interested in the card trick tutorials on youtube too often.
But thanks for your opinion, it's still helpful :). If you do think that the teaching videos of Shin Lim himself and the combined routine ideas are little helpful, doesn't sound so bad for the price. I guess I'll have to think about it.
