Sad to see what has become of the south denes. Had many good caravan holidays there in the 80s as a kid. The pleasure beach used to be open till around 11pm at night back then.
I love this not only because I have been here almost every year if my life, but also i love how you are a family channel because I have watched you for years now and being young myself, I love how I am able to watch your videos without worrying about swearing or anything!! Keep it up Shawn!!!!!! ♡

I used to go here years ago on family holidays. This brought back a lot of memories for me, especially the roller coaster. That was my first ever coaster and one I will never forget. Great to see the park looking after their attractions, still looks just as enjoyable to visit when I went there a few years ago.

all i can say is, it the point of visiting having a look, if we like we stay for a week or 2, if not then well go home and plan a new holiday

The rollercoaster there was the 1st I ever went on with my mum and dad in about 1977 I was 7 years old I loved it that's what gave me the bug for rollercoasters I love them . Great to see you in my childhood holiday place and funfair xxxx
the construction work was once called south denes caravan park and is a childhood memory of mine.
unfortunately it closed in the late 90s due to vandalism and lack of custom.
nice to see some of the original rides are still in use.

we were in great yarmouth on holiday recently and it was fabtastic, really nice getting to ride the wooden coaster again, last rode in the 90s. love it

Had to watch this in 2 hits, started watching it after a day at Thorpe yesterday but was falling asleep about half way through (I was tired)
Jenny Cousins-Allen I'm going to Thorpe park on 19 October, mostly looking forward to Stealth. I will be trying to get my mum on to it. The sad thing is I live in Wales and Thorpe Park is on the other side of England so it's about a 5 and a half hour drive 💤💤

Reverse Time is so much fun! I rode it at Quassy in the US last year. The ride looks very deceiving from an off ride view; it has some good floater air on it.
Hi Shawn, just back from dubai, motiongate was awesome, I didn't realise how much Madagascar mad pursuit would make my whole family feel sick .But loved the whole experience. Really enjoyed dragon glider and meatballs. Overall great value. We got in at opening times of 3pm ,all rides were walk on until 8pm .We had park to ourselves. Dark rides were good queue lines were very well done too .

Loving this trip down memory lane. Love pleasure beach and joyland. I remember the older attractions like the looping star and sheer terror (one of the first scare mazes in the UK. As for figure of 8 coaster. Twinlakes have one called rum runner.

I went there last year and some people screamed like babies, on the rollercoaster and on the rocking boat. The thing is everyone who was screaming really badly was adults lol

believe it or not Mulan attended hull fair under theodore whyatt who owns ex fantasy islands jump n smile also mulan is up for sale personally i think the pleasure park could do with a booster or something like a few years ago or even a nice kmg ride however they could do better with the log flume paint the trough and the centre tower could do with some lights could do with abit of TLC

When I was a child, a kid had an accident on Snails and Fairytales. The lap restraint hadn't been lowered down completely and, somehow, he actually managed to get out of the ride in the dark ride section. He was in the car in front of me and I watched him fall out. I remember telling a member of staff, as soon as I got off, that there was a kid inside. They looked at me stunned and to this day I don't know if they actually went to try and find him. Maybe it's haunted by the ghost of the lost boy? Lol.

Hi Shawn I've been and passed Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach last March, which I couldn't get in, because it was Closed due to Spring Season.
I was on the alien space ship thingy ride when I went there on 26th July

Fantastic vlog! I recommend watermouth castle is a great attraction if your ever in Wales! Hope it’s okay to ask questions but have you ever been really afraid to go on a ride? And if so what ride? And what do you think about ride safety, would you ever make video on the true facts? My mum is petrified and I would love for her to be able to go on rollercoasters next year comfortably with me. I don't usually get scared to ride anything, the scariest ride I've done is on top of the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas
